Since I have a home cafe account, there are a lot of people asking me for drink recipes! So while making the drinks I've done together, I'd like to share the recipes, decorating tips, and ingredients with all of you. Also, the concept of this class is “rainbow”! I want to make drinks with a variety of colors like a rainbow together. I want to make it fun to express each drink by color.

This <aboutmas> class focused on cafe drinks and beginners in home cafes. We will show you how to apply and make drinks that are somewhat unfamiliar to you that you haven't experienced in regular cafes in your own style. In addition, we want to be able to experience and feel the basic understanding of ingredients, compatibility between ingredients, decoration, and furthermore, the true charm of a home cafe.

Learn about typical menus at home cafes

kkk.png

For those who are new to home cafes, we will learn about classic drinks that often appear in home cafes rather than drinks that are unfamiliar to them. We'll help you find your own style while learning the basic menus. I will explain it step by step so that it is not difficult, and I will also learn how to apply it.

Decorate drinks beautifully

ddd.png

Making the menu delicious is important, but the decoration is also very important. Each drink has a different decoration method, so in this class, we will try to make 7-8 drinks through a total of 8 chapters and teach you step by step how to decorate each drink.

Try making drinks according to your own taste

xxx.png

A home cafe is a different kind of hobby where a classmate can be a barista making drinks and a drink-tasting customer. Therefore, knowing how to make your own favorite drink is also the goal of this class. It's very important to find your own color for drinks, decorations, etc., that you've never experienced before! Why don't you learn the basics of home cafes through my classes and find out what your color is?

I'll send you a recipe note (PDF file)

We'll provide additional recipe notes so you can continue your home cafe journey even after the course is over!

Q. I've never worked at a cafe or made drinks, but can I do well?

A. Of course! If you make it step by step according to my instructions, you'll have a beautiful drink! My class is an introductory class that is more useful for those who are new to a home cafe in their lives than those who have worked at a cafe or who already have a home cafe.

Q. Do I have to follow the style of About Mars?

A. Absolutely not. I will try to respect my classmates' expressions about drinks. This part will be a huge advantage when it comes to building your own style! I think it's a great development to try to make drinks that are better than mine. Please creatively and personalize the drink you want according to your taste. My class just wants to provide that guide.

Q. After attending class, can I do well at a home cafe on my own?

A. The goal of my class is to improve the applicability of my classmates to make a variety of drinks even after they are stubborn! Therefore, I will give you some basic guidelines and teach you some applied beverages. You don't have to worry about that at all! If you've taken my class, you'll already fall in love with the charm of a home cafe.

About Mars

Hello! I'm Kim Min-jin, a mascafe who runs the @about_mars Home Cafe account on Instagram. I still remember the moment I first entered Home Cafe in September 2017. I was a kid who didn't know how to use a variety of drinks or how to decorate them beautifully when I first started, so I came here just because I love home cafes. For a little over a year, I would like to share the tips and know-how I learned while running a home cafe account to many beginners in a useful and fun way.
