Hallo
This is Serena from Serena Art.

Acrylic, fall in love with its charms
While working with computers as a designer and freelancer, I've been drawing intermittently since I couldn't forget the appeal of hand painting. Meanwhile, The appeal of acrylicI fell in love with it, and I've come this far. Acrylic has the advantage of vivid colors and durability. It dries quickly, so it's easy to fix after drying.
What is the biggest appeal of acrylic oilsYou can also use it like, watercoloursThe point is that it can also be used like It has the appeal of applying it as thick as an oil painting while maintaining a vivid color when used without burning water, and lightly and gently like a watercolor painting when it gets a lot of water. In particular, the appeal is multiplied when painting a landscape that is painted in layers. When I work on a computer, I have a habit of keeping things neat and tidy, but no matter what I do with acrylic paint The beauty of acrylicI have this left:)
A palette knife with a rough and clunky look
initially curiously That's why I drew pictures with a knife. I was always curious when I watched Bob Ross's videos on TV when I was a kid. So I tried it, and I liked the feeling that the paint was applied nicely. At first, when painting a wide background, proceed with the impression that it captures the overall color, and when depicting a landscape such as mountains or trees, etc. The charm of being rough and clunkyI'm working on it by making use of. It has become one of the indispensable ingredients now:)
Simple yet unique tools
In this class, I'm going to use a palette knife and 5 types of brushes. Each tool has a variety of uses depending on its characteristics. Have fun learning how the coloring method differs depending on the tool and what kind of feeling it can give!
- Knife - for spreading the entire color in a wide area
- Knife - for representing rough surfaces such as mountains or trees
- Paint brush - for mixing and blending large areas of color
- Fan brush - for wood and rough floors
- Watercolor brush - for softly expressing clouds and trees
- Thin brush - for drawing slightly finer lines
The process is an interesting picture
I'll start by deciding the background color in my head, then taking out the paint and spraying it on the canvas. Spread it out enough to be a background with a knife, paint it, and blend it with a wide brush. Even if you don't have a sketch I'll show you the magic of becoming a painting! If you don't like the color, let it dry, then work slowly while applying additional color. Never be afraid to make mistakes:)
After that, I finish by improving the details little by little with a brush. The background The feeling of oil paintingWhat is the expression for clouds or the moon watercolor feelingI'm going to express it as. The texture of the knife and brush remains on the canvas, so if you look still, you can see the painting process.
Painting has always been a great source of strength for me.
The purpose of my painting was healing. Other people too Empathize with healingWhen I was looking for a feeling I could do, I drew nature, and the people who watched the video also sympathized with nature a lot. Like this, I hope that the people who take my classes will have as much healing time as they paint. A fun job rather than the “result” of the compulsion to draw well “Course”I think this is important.
In the past, when I had a different job, I used to go to painting classes once a week, but that was the most Time to be healedIt was. I remember sitting at my desk and playing with brushes even when I was a kid. Painting has always been a source of healing and great strength for me. I hope this kind of feeling will be conveyed to all of you:)
