Hi, I'm FindenArt and I'm back with my second class.

▶ ︎ Student reviews

Thank you so much for the love and support for my first class, which was liked by over 16,000 people and had 4,000 class reviews. Among the reviews, there were not only drawings from class but also drawings people made applying their own style. I collected the pictures of those classmates and opened a small exhibition. It must have been a really happy moment to show someone the drawing they did from beginning to end.

When you see a pretty place, you might want to draw it but have trouble figuring out where and how to start. And even though you do start drawing, it's hard to decide how much to draw or how to finish it.

However, through the observation exercises you did with me, I think you can now decide for yourself where to draw, how to move your eyes, and when to finish the drawing.

So, through the observation method and practice in the first lesson, I think you now would have fully understood the concept of seeing and observing something, and drawing it with your own hands!

Now, it's time for more than simply finishing a drawing. Are you ready to make your drawing more interesting and colorful?

Also, I assume some of you have never learned how to draw, so you're afraid to start. You probably want to gain more knowledge before starting actual drawing.

I have prepared a second class for those people.

Do you draw 'well'?

What does it mean to draw well?

It may have many different meanings, but people mostly say that when something is drawn very similar to what we can see. But what we look at usually has a three-dimensional structure. Therefore, when you draw what you actually see on paper, it may look slightly distorted, as if it were an optical illusion.

To make that structure look three-dimensional on flat paper, you can draw using these two things: perspective and air perspective.

Now you can draw as you like! Let's get started.

The perspective method can be applied when drawing shapes using a pen, and the air perspective method can be applied when coloring using watercolor.

I'll show you both of these methods step by step in this lesson so that we can apply them and draw together. First, I'll explain the principles of perspective. Then you'll learn to use 1-point perspective and 2-point perspective to draw beautiful buildings.

If you explain the theory of perspective to a person who is not familiar with observing and drawing lines, drawing becomes a difficult and boring hobby. So in the first class, I didn't go into much of it and just explained the flow. Now I think you're ready to accept this slightly complicated theory.

Let's get to work.

Just by understanding perspective well, your drawings will make great progress.

Learn more about advanced watercolor paintings.

The way I teach watercolor may be slightly different from the traditional method. Since I mainly make drawings from trips, it's impossible to color very carefully. I'll teach you simple but effective watercolor techniques.

Even with simple techniques, you can easily draw pictures that you would not have dared to try thinking it might be difficult. You won't have to doubt yourself anymore!

You'll also learn about another factor that makes drawing easy.

It's the paper.

I'm sorry but that's just the way it is. The more expensive the paper, the more difficult the manufacturing process, and the more durable it is. It won't be torn even if you put water all over it. Since the paper holds the water well when it is painted on, the gradation can also be expressed very naturally.

The reason why the sky gradation didn't work so well is not your fault, but the paper's fault.

So don't get frustrated, try out a variety of ingredients and good ingredients to your heart's content. I'll show you firsthand the feeling of coloring, which varies from paper to paper. Through these experiences, you can find ingredients that are right for you.

Also, the most important thing in watercolor is the color scheme. You need to know exactly what color you need to use in order to create the right color. Let's take a look at how to perceive colors and how to make colors.

No more stick figures!

Hair, eyes, nose, mouth, lines on clothes, hands, and feet. Through various examples, let's draw a person who no longer feels like a stick figure.

Sometimes, you need to learn the theories before drawing. This level of drawing isn't easy to achieve. You'll get used to it if you draw a lot with your hands while constantly using what is in your head. Even if it's a bit difficult, you'll definitely enjoy this process. Because you want to draw “well.” I want you to experience that joy when you start feeling comfortable making those difficult drawings.

Make your drawings more colorful with various expression techniques

Now I'm going to cover various ways to express which I didn't cover in the first lesson. This will help your drawing get rich and colorful.

Using perspective, which you learned earlier, draw canned drinks and sweets in 3D! Depending on the viewpoint, the angle of the letters and images drawn on the side will also change. If you understand this part well, your drawing will look like a real three-dimensional object.

Brunch drawn from a top view can look more delicious if you look at it from the side. There are also a lot of tips on how to make each menu look more delicious..

Even the trees that I only covered briefly in the first lesson will be drawn in detail while looking at actual trees. You know that trees take up half of the drawings from trips, right?

Let's draw the textures you're curious about!

I would like to share with you some of the textures that received the most questions during feedback time from my first class.

Ranked #1 among them was the texture of transparent objects like glass, vinyl, etc. There were many people who were wondering how to express that. Rather than showing it with a single picture, I'm going to show you as many examples as possible so that you can practice enough.

And the second is the texture of water.

When I travel, there are many cases where the water looks amazing because something floating on the lake or sea is reflected. In that case, you'll be able to make full use of it! Also, the wavelength of water is an expression that cannot be missed in a rainy day landscape. You'll be able to draw a picture of rain falling down very simply.

And the last is the texture of the grass. There were a lot of questions about it, and I personally wanted to talk about it too. The grass in some of the student's drawings looked quite plain. The drawing will look much richer if you just take care of some minor points.

Now you can draw difficult pictures.

Finally, let's try making slightly more difficult drawings.

Drawings of night view require finding the right thickness of the paint

and pen drawings require accurately separating light and dark.

And for complex cityscapes, you need to make correct decisions on which part to include or omit in the drawing.

You have to be well aware of the theoretical parts, be quick, and plan out the working process well to finish these drawings, but they will definitely be worth it. If you finish these drawings, I'm sure the range of drawings you can make will increase immensely.

It's not included in the kit, but I'll also show you some examples so that you can draw even more unique pictures with different materials.

I don't think I have a clear style like famous writers with their own distinct colors. However, it is clear that I like drawing and want to draw well. But again, I don't want to draw difficult and complicated. I think this is my personality. It's ironic.

However, thanks to my laziness, I think I can give a lot of tips on how to draw efficiently to people who want to draw a lot of pictures. Both the first lesson and this second lesson are full of ways to enjoy painting. I hope you will find happiness in capturing your everyday life and trips in your art.

I started drawing while traveling a few years ago. After a long time as a tutor, I wanted to make my own art. Many people loved the drawings I made on my trips. I also empathized with many people's wants to draw well, and frustration from the thought that drawing is only for talented artists.

Therefore, my first class was about helping people easily start and enjoy drawing. Many people joined, and I felt very proud to see them fully enjoy the fun part of drawing.

In this class, I would like to offer more possibilities to those who want to draw better. I am planning to present various theories, skills, and materials that I know so that you can make more advanced drawings in your own style.

With you guys, I'm planning to resume drawing myself, which I stopped for a while due to childbirth. I would like to fill pride and happiness in my life, where every day feels like a vacation.

Thank you.
