Intricate Styling, Camera Usage & Editing

In this class, you will learn how to visualize in minimal lines and to focus on what is important when drawing from reference photos. Sometimes less is more, but deciding where to stop drawing can be tricky. I want to show you how illustrations can be more powerful if you don't show the whole scene but focus on specific areas. You will also learn to take quick selfies to help you get references for your drawings.

Producing Beautiful Scenes Using Manual Mode

I will teach you the different angles that will help capture the audience's attention, with my very own tips and tricks that will help scenes come alive. Here are the general points:

-Distance: Guide to shoot up close & afar

-Direction: Changing the mood of the scene by adjusting the angle

-Point of View: Posing the objects in different ways

-Position: Positioning objects to change the dynamic of the scene

I use my camera on manual mode. Although it can be a hassle to use a manual camera, it's great to produce just the right feel I want the scene to be like. In this class I will show you how to use your camera on manual mode without it being burdensome.

LumaFusion

Through Lumafusion, you'll learn the basics of editing videos including:

Procreate

Procreate is used a lot for those who draw. I like to use the app to incorporate my own handwriting and draw fun drawings or backgrounds. This application has many functions but I'll be teaching you the way that you can apply it to your videos.

Keynote

Keynote helps add an emotional touch to videos by combining photos, fonts, and layouts. There's difficulty adding long sentences in Lumafusion, so we'll be utilizing Keynote to add font effects. Though this application is made to create presentations, I find it useful to get that special and unique affect that I want.
