I'm K ART, an artist who captures the sensibility of black and white photography with a single pencil.

It's been about 20 years since I started painting. I'm not a pure artist, but I started doing art when I was a kid, and until last year I taught children as a full-time lecturer at an art school for entrance examinations.

As a result, my paintings became a mirror reflecting my life.

If you think about it easily, it seems that painting is something that is easy and infinitely difficult if you think hard. Gone are the days when art was taught only abstractly. Through this class, I'll teach you how to draw pictures more intuitively and easily!

When it comes to painting,

When I draw, I don't struggle or try hard to draw well.

The harder I try, the more difficult it is to draw. I just think of the finished image in my head, and I only think about what I can do and what I need to protect Just silently Let's draw. Those processes that I have been constantly repeating every day When I draw with the same excitement as the first time, the imaginary image unfolds before my eyes.

“Drawing well does not teach well.”

This is what I emphasized most to my assistant instructors. I started doing art when I was young, and I have achieved satisfactory results at world competitions and various practical tests in my own way, but I think drawing well and teaching well are separate issues.

I'm going to use a pencil to teach you more easily and simply about tone, which is the basis of drawing. Simplify the toneIf you make it easy to access it, Later, paintings with complex tonesIt's also much easier to draw.

Repeated mistakes don't get better with effort alone.

Do you always get lost or screwed up in the same area while drawing?

You can't solve this on your own. Because being wrong over and over again, Lack of eye and understanding to spot the wrong thingsIt's because I do it. I'll show you how to develop an eye that can accurately judge pictures. No more struggling alone, don't give up.

I've been drawing pencil drawings for almost 20 years,

I think I've touched on some styles once in a while. As a result, I learned a few things, and I think it's only now that I can understand the physical properties of pencils to some extent and breathe and draw together.

The reason my paintings don't look great even if I follow the wonderful techniques of good painting is because of my “basic skills.”

Basic skills Hands are not a problem, but a matter of understandingIt's. With my painting experience and the know-how I gained from teaching various people, all of you Tips tailored to eye levelI'll let you know.

A candid story about human body sketches

Those who want to do a human body, but are hesitant because sketching is too difficultI'll share a sketch design for you to listen to. I will teach you the lesson with sketch design for practice, and I will explain only the minimum essentials of sketching so that you can practice what you have learned from sketching.

I dare to look at images and copy them I don't think it's necessary to study the structure of the human body. This is because if you tinker with the actual structure of the human body, the natural lines of the human body may be ruined by worrying too much about the structure.

When it comes to painting, the most important thing is not the hands, but the eyes.

This is the core of my class.

The best education method comes from empathy.

After all, the most important thing is, If you don't have “empathy,” it's just a nagging voice that you don't want to hear even the best wordsIt's called. I'm interested in learning new things. Just like all of you.

So when I first learn What parts are fearful and overwhelming, what kind of class Do you wantI can “empathize” with.

How about communicating together based on my “empathy” and “experience”?

This class is the 'first step'.

I don't do this class as a hobby or as a subjob.

I'm seriously challenging myself as a creator based on my experience in art and academy that I've done so far. So I plan to fully focus all of my time on this class and the classes that follow. Starting with this class, we are planning classes with various materials and concepts.

I will provide my own special management to all of you who trust me and follow me.

When I taught children at the entrance examination art school, I spent a long time consulting and caring for mental management and mindset.

Mental management is really important because the actual picture reflects my mood.

Therefore, I intend to continue to carry out the mental care and QnA necessary for painting for all of you.

Don't be afraid to take on the challenge. I'll take responsibility until the end.
