Skills You’ll Learn
Character Pin-Up Posters Illustration
Do you have characters and worlds in your head that need a way to get out? Learn how to take that first step into creating an image that will encompass your character. Make it into an impacting pin-up poster that you can use to set up for anything you put your mind. I've built my audience online from creating these pin-ups, which have led me to the world of comics, character design for indie games, and selling my posters online. I will share my brush tools and process of taking a character from scratch and build a narrative into it as a pin-up poster that says there is more story to tell behind this character in one image.
This course is for anyone who enjoys drawing and telling stories. Those of you who read a comic, watch films, and always wonder about their favourite characters' back story in them. You want to convey ideas with detail simply, and stylishly that can be recognised as yours.
By the end of the course, you will learn a process from developing your ideas and your characters in pencil sketches on the paper to digital illustrated posters. I will provide my customized brush to help your process. These Pin-Up posters can be used to pitch ideas and to get attention from audiences online. You'll gather the necessary tools to use reference and push your ideas while championing your style and skills.

CROM
HI there!
I'm CROM, I'm a full-time artists based in London, UK. I have developed a following for my work through years of developing my illustration style that has taken me in various exciting directions in my career. I used to work in advertising for blockbuster films before I decided to quit my job and do illustration full time. Since then, I've been running a successful online shop for my work, became a tattooist traveling around the world and published my first mainstream comic book in America with Dark Horse Comics. I also run a Patreon and I get to pick what projects to work on based on what some call a very distinctive style, which brings me the freedom to work only on what I really love.
