Modern calligraphy refers to drawing beautiful letters by using traditional calligraphy tools. They are the stylish words that you would usually come across at weddings or fashion-related items. We will be going through the lesson step-by-step from how to hold the pen, basic strokes, how to write English letters, how to connect them, etc. Let's first aim for finishing a message card. Once you manage to do it on a paper, try it on a variety of other materials such as mirrors, agate stone slices, acrylic boards, etc. Your words may look more stylish if you add more white or gold in it. You will definitely want to show your products. We also added a class on how to digitize your handwriting in this class. With that technology, you will be able to add words to your own photos! Give it a try!

① Easy-to-follow for beginners
We teach from the very basics on how to use the basic tools and the practice paper which will be easy for beginners to follow.
② Learn how to write on various materials
We will teach you the skills or knowledge on how to be careful when writing big letters on a lettered acrylic board or a mirror. After taking the class, you will be able to add letters to your liking on your personal belongings (e.g. makeup, mirrors).

My connection with modern calligraphy starts all the way back when I first fell for it at a wedding abroad.
After I started modern calligraphy, the scope of my design was able to expand vastly and it helped me to really achieve what I wanted to achieve.
There are numerous things on calligraphy that I really want to share with all of you. However in this class, I would like to focus on the beauty that can spread in front of your eyes by only adding words into a small space.
In addition, I hope that you will be able to learn the skills and knowledge that you can enjoy in your daily lives.

A. I first wanted to try out calligraphy when I first came across a paper item at a wedding abroad.
Q. What kind of experience do you wish for Classmates to gain from this class?
A. I think that there will be many of you who had came across modern calligraphy previously through workshops. However you might have considered it more difficult than you thought. Through this class, I hope that you will be able to enjoy hand lettering with modern calligraphy in your daily lives, by learning how to write and practice, along with learning how you can write on various kinds of materials.

A. Thank you for visiting my class. Previously, I had received various requests to come and teach at a workshop which I always rejected, as I did not have the time and was not confident enough to give it a try.
However, CLASS101 had conducted market research on me and I was surprised to receive more 'likes' and messages than I ever imagined. With their help, I was able to gain the courage to start a class.
First I would like to really say thank you to all of you that supported me and gave me 'likes'. I really appreciate your support.
