There's no place near my house where I can learn about Hanbok!

When I was working as a Hanbok making instructor, the students I taught were always talking about it. There are many people who love our beautiful clothes, 'Hanbok' itself, and want to make it themselves, but I was disappointed that there aren't many places that teach me how to make it. There are more places than when I was studying, but there are still few places where I can learn.

So why not introduce our clothes and hanbok in 'Class 101', where many people can easily listen to at any time? With that in mind, I opened the class.

In class Traditional hanbokLearn, How to make a slight transformation to fit my bodyI also learn. Also Various design applications and Hanbok accessoriesI added and configured it so that I could make my own hanbok suit.

Anyone can make hanbok

Many people have a lot of misconceptions about Hanbok. Hanbok is very difficult to make, so I don't think the average person can make it. Of course, it depends on the design of Hanbok, but what we generally know Jeogori and skirts are easier to make than you might think. When sewing for the first time There are parts that require care and skill, but if you listen carefully to the class and make one or two suits, you can easily wear them.

Once upon a time, when people used to wear hanbok as a casual garment, hanbok is not a difficult garment even if you just look at making a hanbok for the family by hand sewing it at home. This class is for people who want to make their own hanbok Classes anyone can learnIt's.

Basics and basics are important

A lot of people these days Reasons to learn Hanbok One of them was designed in a modern way Because I want to make my own hanbokThis is it.

To make a modern hanbok, if you know the basic hanbok design and then transform it Benefits of Hanboket modern designI think we can make more practical and cool clothes by mixing them.

If you learn the basics of sewing and the basics of how to make a hanbok, you can make your own design hanbok even if the fabric is different or the color scheme is different.

todays A class that even first-time users can make enough by following them step by stepIt's. How to hold a needle in your hand, how to tie a knot after inserting a thread, etc., really How to apply basic hanbok patterns from basic contentI'll also learn about it.

You're new to sewing, but you can't arrange a sewing machine to make a hanbok suit, right? Follow along slowly by hand sewing, and if you get interested, try making it fast with a sewing machine! The class explains hand sewing as a basis.

But that doesn't mean To prevent lessons from being boring for people who use sewing machines to listen to, what you can do with a sewing machine and several tipsI'll teach you. You'll learn the parts you don't understand with written explanations from a typical hanbok making book and tips for applying them in practice.

Class secret notes

When I first learned how to make hanbok, they explained, “What kind of fabric is this, sewing is like this...”, but I've never seen a fabric that explains it, and I often just followed my teacher without explaining why I should do it that way. At this time, I remember writing it down in my notebook as soon as I could hear the teacher speak. I even took jokes and wrote them down, but when I pulled out the notes I had written at this time later, there were a lot of things I understood.

Reminds me of me when I was a beginner and thought about what I needed most in classI tried it.

You may be able to create a finished work by simply following the teacher's instructions, but why do you create it that way? There is definitely a big difference between understanding and creating while thinking about it. When I explained that part in the middle of class, I felt that there was nothing better than taking notes myself.

So a special gift for students who have prepared their own!

Secret notes

A secret notebook to make studying Hanbok even more funI prepared a kit configuration. You can take it out and view it anytime To a secret note Organize lessons in your own wayTry it. Even if it doesn't seem like a big deal, A guide that allows me to recreate Hanbok on my own when I unfold it again after the classIt's going to be.

Preparation of complex hanbok ingredients,

We'll help you right from the start!

Beginners often find it difficult to find only the names of auxiliary materials. What kind of fabric should I prepare and what size should I prepare, what decorative accessories are needed, and is this the right one? Is that it? What are you talking about? It takes a long time to find and prepare like this.

In order to ease these difficulties, in the kit Individually packaged DIY packages for each curriculumI configured it.

For class, all you need to do is prepare the necessary packaging bags and sewing tools, and you're done preparing the materials! You can reduce the hassle of searching for and preparing ingredients. Also, at the end of class, I get a lot of fabric, and it's even better if I put each one in a bag at this time, so I can store the fabrics without mixing them up.

All of you spend less time organizing and searching for materials, and focus more on sewing!

Let's make it in a variety of sizes!

We have prepared kits in a variety of sizes. From toddler hanbok to adult hanbok, choose the size you need!

Because there is not much difference between children's hanbok and adult hanbok in the making process The class is explained in a toddler's hanbok so that everyone can see it at a glanceI will do it. Also, classes are taught using patterns made in ready-made sizes, such as slightly lengthening the sleeve length, slightly lengthening the item, slightly increasing the length of the jeogori, etc. Transformation method using a basic patternLearn to make clothes that fit your body!

For the first time, we recommend that you try a small kids' size, and try a larger adult hanbok after learning the whole processI will! Also, it would be special to try making your own set, such as a child hanbok, mom hanbok, or sister hanbok.

A special hanbok gift I made

The meaning of a pretty hanbok for a child to be born and a hanbok for a child preparing for their first birthday party is even better. If the mother makes the child's first clothes, the child will grow up healthyThere is also a story about.

This class is recommended for aunts and uncles who love their nephews, priests who want to wear their own hanbok at a wedding, those who want to leave a picture of their life as a hanbok photo when the weather is nice, and those who want to make their own hanbok for their child every year.

A hearty hanbok made by all of you is a meaningful gift that the recipient will never forgetIt could be.

Sensible, full set of hanbok!

We prepare a curriculum for various classes, not just traditional hanbok making classesI did. If you learn how to make hanbok...

Learning how to make hanbok gave me a special feeling in my daily life. I can make an expensive hanbok with my own hands if I match it at a hanbok shop, so I can make a hanbok for my child every year, and I also give a very luxurious gift to my friends.

I also made hanbok and started a small business to sell it, and I also tried teaching hanbok at a great opportunity. When my child is older and I go to a collection of poems, I definitely want to make a hanbok with my own hands.

I'm not a decades-old hanbok craftsman, but an ordinary housewife raising children. However, Hanbok, which I learned as a hobby by chance, was so fun that I began to study more, and now it's a big part of me.

I'm sure this isn't just my story. If you learn this class, something special will come to your normal everyday life. Let's indulge in the coolness of Hanbok with me.

Hello, this is Petit Garden.

I'm an ordinary housewife who learned hanbok because I wanted to make a comfortable and beautiful hanbok for my kids, and learned traditional knots to make decorations suitable for hanbok.

I made a hanbok like that, and made a pretty pacifier... I used to make one or two suits for the kids My hobby of making hanbok became my job, and I have been enjoying my work until now.

I originally loved all kinds of crafts and clothing making, and since I was a kid, I had confidence in sewing machines as a hobby, but the process of learning Hanbok wasn't easy. There is a stereotype that Hanbok itself is a garment that is difficult to use in techniques that can only be made by craftsmen with a long experienceBecause of this, it wasn't easy to access, and there weren't many offline workshops or Hanbok classes, let alone videos, as it is now, so there were few opportunities to learn.

Then I was very lucky enough to have the opportunity to learn Hanbok, and then Traditional hanbok making and various ways to match trendsThey were also able to learn. As I studied dress making and dressmaking, and learned various crafts such as gemstone crafts and knot crafts, I naturally applied these crafts to HanbokI also learned how to try it out.

Since then, I studied Hanbok a lot, and had the opportunity to give offline lectures, and I was able to learn a lot while teaching with many students at this time.

These are works of students who took classes offline. It's really cool, right?

Most students who are new to sewing, or students who have held needles for more than 10 years have come here with a love for Hanbok.

Beginner students who have forgotten how to hold needles should tell me even things that are far more trivial than I think, and if I tell you one, students who know up to three or four should give me more tips, and those who use Hanbok rental stores should give me useful practical methods...While teaching students with so many different purposes, I thought there were many people who wanted to learn Hanbok like this.

I decided to take the online class because I thought it would be perfect because it was a platform where many people could easily learn from anywhere and prepare ingredients for hanbok that are difficult to obtain on their own.

I'm not a costume or hanbok major, and I'm not a hanbok craftsman with decades of experience, I'm just an ordinary housewife who enjoys making hanbok.

I want to share my dexterity by creating an opportunity for ordinary people like me to learn easily so that they can make and sell a wonderful hanbok, and teach someone like me. Let's indulge in the beauty of Hanbok together.
