The ability to “design by yourself”

Change the way you use chains and metal fittings and use them as a set accessory for bracelets and necklaces

Hello everyone, I'm Ito Artist Sen.

I think there are many people who “first learned about tatting racing” or “I've done it before, but it was difficult and I stopped it.”

In this course, we will first learn basic movements while making simple works.

By the time you get used to the movement, you'll already have a nice tatting lace motif ♪

It is an idea recipe that allows you to create works that look complicated enough with only basic movements. Please enjoy learning until the end.

The fun you can enjoy while making works

The course content is recommended for those who want to learn tatting lace from scratch, those who want to learn a wide range of designs, and those who want to make tatting lace by hand from now on.

Chapter 1 starts with practice, not theory! Let's learn all the basic techniques and practice while actually making “Futaba ribbons.” I'm sure the fun and joy of completing it with your own hands will be great.

From flat motifs to three-dimensional motifs

While creating works with flat motifs, which are also a staple of tatting lace, I will also teach you detailed techniques for finishing them neatly. Once you get used to it, let's use lace thread No. 70 thin as well.

Once you get used to flat motifs, you will challenge detailed three-dimensional motifs.

Since crushed fruits are randomly made by looking at the balance, they also acquire the ability to “design by yourself.”

Change the way you use chains and metal fittings and finish it as a bracelet and necklace set accessory.

Challenge difficult techniques too!

In the final chapter, we will make a detailed, three-dimensional floret wreath brooch as an omnibus and challenge design.

It looks complicated, but it's an “idea recipe that can be made with only basic movements”! Let's make it cute and pretty using lots of plant motifs.

I'll teach you how to design the photo, but you can also change the design with your own favorite balance like a live flower here too!

Be sure to try out our original brooch.

Q. Please tell me the appeal of tatting lace!

A. Tatting lace created by connecting a single threadThe unique delicate pattern is attractive. Since various patterns can be made with the same hand movement, it is sometimes called “like magic” ♪

Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?

A. I want you to enjoy the excitement when the work is madeThat's it. I think the hard work is until you get the hang of it at the beginning, but once you get over that, you will be able to complete a variety of beautiful lace motifs. Ultimately, if you can create an original motif with your favorite thread, the world will be even more fun.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A. I think tatting lace made from my own hands looks even more attractive. Let's have a great time together ♪
