  • Can't you read the new sheet music well?
  • Are you busy reading sheet music and can't play an instrument well?
  • Do you want to try composing a simple melody?

I'll solve those problems for you!

Hallo I'm Kaga, who graduated from Yale University with a master's degree in violin, and now I'm teaching while doing various freelance jobs.

Last time I was in my first class, “A Yale School of Music graduate teaches me how to play violin” After creating the Iranian class, I saw that many people had trouble reading sheet music, so I thought I should show you how to read sheet music easily.

What kind of class is this?

This is an introductory practice class for beginners and amateurs.

If you want to be good at playing an instrument, first learn what to look at in sheet music and how to practice for beginners!

It's hard to play an instrument I haven't learned, but I think it's really hard to have to read sheet music. Therefore, I usually focus only on the hand that handles the instrument, and I try to play by listening and memorizing.

Because of the wrong practice method, I don't read the sheet music properly, so I play the wrong beat and the wrong pitch. Most people only know the basics, and when they read sheet music, they often think they know everything.

If you want to play a great song, you must first understand the sheet music well, right?

Therefore, in this class, I will revisit basic theories that I didn't know, and show you how to quickly read sheet music that you first saw.

Test to see how much I know!

1. Accelerando What does it mean?

2. What is the proper quick word corresponding to (***)?

Largo- Lento- Adagio- (***) - Andantino - Moderato - Allegretto - Allegro - Vivace - Presto

3. How should the notes be grouped in 4/4?

4. Both 3/4 and 6/8 contain 6 eighths notes. What kind of tail connections will each be made?

If you feel that the problems are unfamiliar or if there is anything you want to know more

I highly recommend this class!

Until now, there have been no music theory classes or beginner classes?

  • Music theory is rarely taught separately in schools or private lessons, so even friends who are good at dealing with musical instruments often don't understand basic theory properly and progress. Even college students often go to college without knowing much about it.
  • Most of the time, teachers just pass by thinking that students already know it, and students are often too embarrassed to ask basic theoretical questions.

I've been learning musical instruments since I was a kid, but I often passed on without knowing the basic theory properly. There was no place that taught only theory without attending an art high school or music school.

Even as a music major, I was always disappointed with that.

There were people around me who wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument, but were terrified because they didn't know how to read sheet music. There were also people who could only read code.

For those who found it difficult to learn theory alone, come here and solve your problems!

You don't have to ask anyone, and you don't have to spend a lot of money just learning theory.

Who would recommend this class?

This class is for everyone to listen to! However, I recommend it to those who want to know basic theory and first-hand practice methods rather than those who want to know music theory in depth.

If you only learn the basic theory and how to read sheet music easily, you'll be able to get to all the instruments a little easier.

It's a course that you can take anywhere without any special preparations, so I hope you take it with a relaxed mind!
