Now kids are more familiar with videos and games rather than books and play. With that, they tend to have trouble with their concentration and seek for overstimulating playthings.

It is said that children's emotions develop until the age of 12. Having a hobby of crochet is expected to have emotionally positive effects. First, making a doll with thread and needle will be a new, surprising experience almost as much as creating something out of nothing. It can give a boost to a child's self-esteem due to its great sense of accomplishment and bring emotional stability with its almost meditation-like experience. Also, working and counting stitches can enhance both concentration and memory.

This is Sieun Mom's wiggle workshop.

After ten years of working as a graphic designer, I started knitting dolls because I love making them so much! Knitting all night without even knowing, now making dolls has become my job. I started making dolls when my daughter, Shieun was born and now she's 8 yo. As a mother, this class means a lot to me. I've created a curriculum so fun and easy that my daughter could follow through when she turns 10 since she told me she wants to learn crochet. I want to teach a fun class giving out my tips and experiences in ways that well fit children's level.

Class 101's most popular course is recreated for our kids!

This class is an online wiggle workshop, where you start with the very basics of crochet. We will start with basic crochet skills for children's levels and make my own 12 dolls in total from simple mini dolls to more complicated human dolls. I've carefully picked designs that kids would love out of many pieces I've worked on so far.

You can try making a variety of sitting dolls, standing dolls, animals, and people.

Crochet also has basic skills.

It's not difficult!

I'll slowly get started with crocheting from the basics. You'll get to know crochet while learning how to make a circle, which is the basis of doll-making.

Repeat, and repeat.

Memorize with your hands and familiarize with your body.

Make a mini-doll by repeating making basic body shape. The main focus of this kids' class curriculum is repetition. You'll experience more improvement as many dolls you make.

We'll make a cute animal doll!

Let's make a sitting doll by sewing legs. I'm also going to learn about color schemes and make sweaters. If you make different ears and tails, you've got bears, foxes, and puppies.

A pattern that can be applied to create lots of cute things! Piak and sprout can be created using your imagination! You can create your own cute doll by changing the color of the clothes and applying anything to the hat.

The class kit includes everything you need with the best quality!

This class will use imported mixed yarn to make all the pieces. 100% cotton yarn is not suitable for kids and their light grip because it's tougher and less elastic compared to mixed yarn. Mixed yarn requires less grip when sewing because it's softer and more elastic. This thread is high-quality both in colors and completion, with many classmates from the 1st class as proof.

We'll send you enough proportions to make dolls from the curriculum and more. You can make gifts for others and don't have to worry when you make mistakes. We'll also send you a good amount of high-quality bell-shaped cotton.
