From 1988 to 2002
I had to follow my father, who is a journalist, to move to New Jersey in the US and South Korea once every three years. I had to pack my luggage if I could get used to it, and I had to break up when I had a few friends. Fortunately, I was able to have a fun school day even though I went back and forth between the two countries as if it were such a cold bath and a hot bath. That's because I had a musical. The musical opened my mouth and ears to a young person who couldn't write or understand English, and made it easy for me to make friends when I had to transfer to a strange school during my sensitive adolescence.
When I was in my first year of college,
When I came back to Korea, I started Miracle Works Musical Studio because I was thinking about a different way to teach myself in English tutoring requests coming in from all over the place, but I didn't know English when I was a kid, but I played “Lion King” thousands of times and sang along with it, so I decided to set up Miracle Works Musical Studio.
As I was preparing to study at law school in the US, I never dreamed that the studio, which I only wanted to do while attending college, would become my lifelong job and my company.
After all, I am doing my best to become a more professional teacher of English musicals by traveling between Seoul as well as Gangwon-do and Jeju Island using techniques learned from participating in expert course workshops held on Broadway every year and working at the American Musical Leaders Association.
The reason
It was because of the changing appearance of children through musical classes.
I saw a child with no confidence practicing day and night to proudly perform his role on the big stage in the United States, a child who was not good at making friends because of his strong sense of selfishness and competition practiced with his friends with a clear smile, and a child who had a rough personality due to loneliness and depression crying saying he was sorry to break up at the end of the camp
