Skills You’ll Learn
Let's get started with pottery more easily! Oven pottery brooch making online course
Whether you are looking for a hobby to enjoy with your family, those who are new to oven pottery, those who want to make slightly cute motifs, or those who want to learn knowledge about ceramics, this is a fun oven pottery class that I can recommend!
Learn how to handle clay, pottery techniques such as decorative clay and dobe, and even how to color motifs to make them look cuter and more realistic.
The pottery process is simple and fun,
The world of oven-pottery where you can study
Oven pottery has a process similar to pottery.
Therefore, you can easily enjoy the pottery process and various basic methods such as molding, firing, coloring, finishing, etc.
I will introduce knowledge of ceramics to everyone, such as pottery terms, basic ways to handle clay, and firing methods.
“Makeup clay”? “where”? “How to color”? Introducing pottery techniques and skills!
In this class, I will teach you how to use “cosmetic clay” and “dobe (clay dissolved in water)” and tips on how to create works with taste.
Also, I will tell you how to use acrylic paint to make the motifs look delicious.
I also usually make fake sweets, and I've also included methods using that technology that look realistic!
Create pottery works that have your own taste
The great appeal of ceramics is that even if they are made using the same method, works that bring out the individuality of each can be created.
I love my own pottery miscellaneous goods that I have taken the time to create.
I think there are people who think it “seems difficult.”
Even if the finished product has a slightly different shape, you will feel at ease with your unique work in the world.
Create 5 kinds of diverse motifs
All 5 types of motifs are popular motifs,
The uses are also different, so I think every time will be a new challenge!
From miscellaneous goods that decorate the room, brooches that are a point of coordination, to tableware that can be used every day!
Please enjoy every day when you come into contact with ceramics and enrich your heart!
Also, since the range of crafting will expand as you take the class, I think you will be able to apply the lessons and acquire a sense of being able to create original works.
I will generously pass on that know-how so that you can continue to enjoy pottery, so let's make various motifs and enjoy oven pottery together!

I thought a lot about how to carefully convey how to make a tasteful work based on the basics so that people can enjoy it.
If you have an oven at home, you can easily experience pottery, so be sure to try “oven pottery”!
“Actually, when I had plans to open a classroom, I received voices saying, “I want to make it, but it's difficult to attend on a fixed day,” and “I can't attend because it's far away.” When CLASS101 spoke out this time, they said, “If it's an online class, everyone from all over the country can learn at their own timing!” I thought.
Q. What kind of work is your teacher working on? Please introduce your teacher briefly!
A. While being healed by the sounds of wild birds in my small atelier, I mainly make earthenware brooches with original designs, and fake food on an irregular basis.
Thanks to you, they handle pottery brooches at 12 locations, such as resort hotels in Hokkaido, and are featured in various media.
Also, in 2016, a how-to book (co-authored) on how to make small items using oven clay was released.
Normally, I mainly do online shopping, exhibit at events, and deliver to contractors. I keep making it because I want to see the happy faces of everyone who gets it.
Q. How did your teacher get into pottery?
A. “merenda” means “snack,” and it originally started with the production and sale of fake sweets.
Soon after, I came across “oven pottery,” a ceramic art that can be made at home, and began working in earnest as a pottery brooch artist in 2015.
When creating pottery works with food motifs, techniques for making fake sweets are applied.
Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?
A. In oven pottery, a work cannot be completed in a day. The time to wait for drying is one of the pleasures.
Even if you make a slight mistake, it becomes a “taste” and you get attached to it, and above all, it is a unique work in the world.
In this class, we'll make 11 works (not just brooches, but even cute mamezara with sweets and accessories on them)!
We want you to fully enjoy the fun of “oven pottery”.
