Nice to meet you. I'm Naoko Anagnostu and I'm researching Greek cuisine.

While living in Greece, I write stories and recipes about Greek food on my blog and work as a writer for other Greek-related jobs.

Actually, only a few of them have been sent out, and other research on recipes and food culture has been accumulated in person.

When I post Greek food that I have learned locally through blogs and books, I have received many voices saying “I can reproduce authentic flavors” thanks to that.

I'm going to have them see the actual work through this class, and I think I'll be able to tell you some points that were difficult to understand with just sentences and photos.

Enjoy authentic flavors even with Japanese ingredients!

“Can Japanese ingredients bring out authentic flavors?”

Aren't you worried that “there are rare ingredients in Japan and it might be impossible...”?

In this class, there are recipes for cooking that can be made with ingredients that are also available in Japan, and how to complete cooking by substituting Japanese ingredients. I'll give you tips on how to make authentic flavors and enjoy them even in Japan.

Greek cuisine with a high degree of perfection that can be completed with simple techniques.

Speaking of techniques, they are not difficult techniques at all, and they are simple advice such as “there are methods like this” and “let's keep the points firmly in check here,” so everyone can cook Greek food kindly and happily.

12 dishes eaten by authentic Greeks

All of the menus completed in class are centered around home-cooked meals that Greeks eat on a regular basis, and I collected the characteristic techniques of Greek cuisine that are easy to understand.

From sauces and soups that can be used in a variety of dishes, to moussaka representing Greece, and the cocktail “ouzo,” which creates a stylish atmosphere!

Take a deep dive into Greece with 15 dishes!

Feel the Greek atmosphere while cooking local cuisine

Also, for the last chapter, I tried the local cuisine menu from Santorini, so be sure to enjoy the feeling of traveling at home.

If you make the Uzo cocktail introduced in the bonus chapter and complete the dish, I think you'll feel like you're on vacation in Santorini.

I would like to tell you a cooking method that makes the most of the deliciousness of the ingredients with simple flavors. It is also recommended for those interested in healthy eating habits such as the Mediterranean diet.

I was invited to start a course, and I thought that I might be able to do it in the on-demand format, which is difficult for me to make time convenient. I would be happy if more people became interested in Greek cuisine and the distance between Japan and Greece would be shortened.
