Skills You’ll Learn
Learn about the world of human beatboxing from active professionals who have won international tournaments
What I came across when I was looking for something I could express myself and get serious about was a beatbox concert held locally.
When I was in high school, I suddenly thought deeply about “death,” and when I wondered how scary it was, I found out that I'm not afraid of dying, but I'm afraid of being able to forget my existence.
I came across Beatbox as a result of searching for something that only I could do, saying “I'll leave something until I die so I don't forget my existence.” From there, I taught myself and continued to practice.
I created a beatbox technique where you play by playing the strings of an electric bass called “slap bass,” which can now be said to be synonymous with myself.
Are human beatboxing and voice percussion the same thing?
Beatbox has value in creating from hip-hop ideas, and emphasis is placed on innovating and creating new forms of expression by combining techniques such as sampling from instruments and music, and sound and sound.
On the other hand, voice percussion mainly focuses on musical thinking about how grooves can be created without interfering with sounds such as other instruments or choruses, and how much they can be harmonized as part of the music.
Once you are fully aware of this difference, you'll know more ways to enjoy it!

Q. What kind of activities does the teacher do? Please tell me about your teacher!
A. Of course I work as an artist, but I also do school education and regional revitalization activities through beatboxing.
Q. How did your teacher get started with human beatboxing?
A. When I was looking for something I could express myself and get serious about, I was shocked when I actually saw a live performance and started being shocked.
Q. Why did you decide to offer online classes with CLASS101?
A. I want to play beatboxing no matter where I live! I decided to start the course because I wanted to be able to provide opportunities and support for those who said that.
Q. Who would you recommend this class to?
A. It's true that everyone is interested... but lol I would recommend it to people who have never done music at all! I also started beatboxing when I was 20 years old, but I hadn't done anything at all until then.
Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?
A. I believe that the lessons are meant to support everyone's “who they want to be,” but I want them to notice a lot of their own potential.
