Hello, I'm Nandabi (Nandabi), an illustrator!
At first, I simply liked Disney animation and started drawing, but as I continued to practice and draw, I became an illustrator.
When I first learned painting, North American paintings were less common than Japanese ones, so I could only think about drawing along.
But thanks At what point does the picture change I got to know it naturally.
I created this class with the hope that even if you don't necessarily draw professionally, you can apply the basic parts and have fun drawing your own memories and friends.
I'm also one of the people who lost a lot when I started painting, so I'd like to share some methods that I easily understood! 😊

I planned this class to draw characters in a simpler and more fun way.
To make it easier to access than the first class, we've prepared a character guide and essential explanations! If you want to learn painting but are not sure, this class will be a little helpful.
What if I'm the only one not good at it...?

I don't think there's a correct answer because everyone has a different way of drawing and drawing, but don't worry too much because I'll give you detailed feedback, focusing on the parts you should know at least! 😋

Hello!
I'm Nandabi (Nandabi), an illustrator!
Like many people, I also liked painting since I was a kid, so I went to the Department of Visual Design, but the classes were very different from what I thought. I liked drawing by hand, but I don't think I'm the type who likes designing on a computer.
It was a time when I had a lot of concerns about the future.
Movies that changed lives
That's how I spent my first year, and I first came across the movie “Avatar.” I felt like my head was flabby.
How can I create characters and backgrounds like that?
Who made it?
I heard this question, and while I was looking for materials, I first learned about “concept art.” Being able to earn money by drawing characters and backgrounds... Even if I think about it now, I think I felt really good at that time.
Choose a job you like
I learned that Disney/Pixar animation, which I always liked, also had a field called concept art, and I boldly dropped out of school when I heard that a portfolio was more important than a student in that field. Of course, my mother's support also played a part in that decision.
When you do what you love, money comes by itself
He said this all the time. I also wanted to invest my money and time in a new field where I didn't want to learn.
I want to share
After a new period of time, I was lucky enough to be offered an “artwork instructor” position at a parent art school, and I worked as a freelancer for about 3 years. Currently, I have quit my job as a lecturer and am traveling, doing private work and freelance activities only.
(My current trip has been suspended due to the coronavirus 🥲)
I felt a lot of pride while working as a lecturer, and later I also had my own goal of “I want to gain more knowledge and experience in painting and be a little helpful to those who want to learn.”
A new challenge
Class 101 seems to be the beginning of that. I still have a lot to learn, but I want to share at least the difficult parts I experienced for the first time in an easy and fun way.
