“I want to buy a camera, but I don't know which one to choose”

Have you ever felt that way when you saw a wonderful photo on SNS, on the web, or in the city?

This class is a photography course aimed at those who have such thoughts and concerns, “you will learn everything from the introduction to application of photography, and you will be able to take a dramatic picture using your own equipment such as a smartphone or camera.”

I myself learned by myself to start taking pictures, and there were a lot of things I was worried about and unclear about. That's why I'm thinking of making something that can help even a little bit of help for those who have trouble taking photos.

What should I do to shoot well? I would like to make the class a little different from what it used to be, so that people can feel that “I was able to shoot something nice” as many times as possible.

Introduction: Basic knowledge of cameras and how to take and edit landscape photos with a smartphone

The curriculum starts with an introductory level and progresses while stepping up to the intermediate level and the applied level so that even beginners can gradually acquire know-how.

In CHAPTER1, which is an introduction, you will learn basic knowledge about cameras. I will teach you how to shoot in manual mode from explanations such as F (aperture) value, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, etc., which are essential for photography.

Then, in CHAPTER2, you actually take 3 landscape photos with your smartphone. pictures

I'll give you tips on thinking about the composition and deciding on a location before shooting. Furthermore, in CHAPTER3, which is the last part of the introductory part, you will learn how to edit photos taken using a software application called “Lightroom.”

If you are new to photography, you may not be familiar with it, but in fact, this “editing” process is very important. Why don't you learn editing methods and tricks to make the photos you've taken look better?

The introductory section is for those who like photography or who are about to start photography. Also, this curriculum is perfect for those who want to take beautiful photos with an iPhone.

Intermediate level:Reflections that fantastically express everyday landscapesHow to take pictures

It's finally CHAPTER4Shota style: How to take reflection photosI will learn. We will prepare for a reflection photo shoot that expresses casual everyday life in an animated way, and we will actually take 2 photos. I will also give a lecture on tips for taking reflection photos and correction methods in Lightroom. Why don't you learn how to take reflection photos and improve your photography skills?

Advanced: How to take landscape photos with a single-lens reflex camera that expands possibilities

Once you can take photos with your smartphone the way you want, you may feel unsatisfactory, such as “I want to express more” or “I want to express myself a little more here, if it could be done like this...”

Therefore, I also prepared a landscape photography lesson for SLRs for those who want to “take better photos like an expert.” You will learn how to buy SLRs and lenses, and prepare for shooting (camera settings), and make use of the knowledge learned in the introductory and intermediate editions to actually shoot landscape photos and reflection photos even with a single-lens reflex camera.

If you take this class, you will be able to take beautiful landscape photos like mine, not to mention your smartphone, even with a single-lens reflex camera. We look forward to seeing you all!

[Creator Interview]

Q. What kind of activities do teachers usually do? Please introduce yourself briefly!

A. I usually study psychology as a university student in Kyoto. I go out to take pictures on weekends and holidays, and I mainly shoot casual everyday scenes and spots that are famous during that time of year.

Q. How did your teacher get into photography?

A. I originally liked the sky, and it started when I started taking pictures of the sky with my iPod touch. From there, I bought a single-lens reflex camera for the first time when I became a university student, and began taking landscape and portrait photos.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

A. I received a lot of comments and rips from people who are my fans asking them to tell me how they usually edit and what things they usually keep in mind when shooting, etc., and when I thought it would be nice if I could distribute a video summarizing it someday, etc., they asked me if I would like to do it together.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

A. What you want to see is thinking about what kind of class it is, and even when it comes to landscape photography, there is also an introduction to shooting with an iPhone in my style of photography, so I put a lot of effort into making the content easy for everyone to start. Also, in my class, I have content that can be used as a reference for those who want to start photography from now on, and from beginners to those who have already experienced photography, so I hope those who are interested can take a look at it in particular.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?

A. I hope that even a few people who feel that it is difficult to shoot well can have as many experiences as possible that make them think “I was able to shoot something with a good feeling” unlike before.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A. I think there are a variety of people who watch this class, those who want to start taking photos from now on, those who have already taken photos but want to take better ones, and those who want to know how to edit. I would like to explain in an easy-to-understand manner as much as possible so that I can help even a little with such various problems and requests, and tell them based on my own experiences so far, so thank you for your cooperation.
