Perfect for a new hobby! Online course to draw pictures with a soft and gentle taste using colored pencils

This is an art class where you draw realistic pictures with colored pencils.

Every chapter includes practice, so you can learn skills while actually moving your hands to finish the work. As the lesson progresses, the number of “things you can do” naturally increases, and it's a nice point that you can also create works at the same time. Improve your drawing skills while enjoying the warmth and soothing colors unique to colored pencils!

Everyone who doesn't have a heart for painting gathers! What are the only 2 skills that will dramatically improve your drawing power?

When you hear the words “I have a heart for painting,” why don't you imagine yourself being able to draw anything smoothly, depending on your innate sense and talent?

If you imagine that figure and feel that “you don't have a heart for painting,” you may completely change your mind when you take this class.

If you unravel what is called a “heart of painting,”Ability to draw and seeIt can be broken down into.

The ability to draw means outputting what you see as it is. The ability to see is a skill of how closely you can observe an object.

And what is the ability to seeEven beginners can train as far as you want.

In this class, detailed points such as where and how to look and what to be aware of are explained in an easy-to-understand manner, so you can train your “ability to observe things” steadily.

As a result, it became possible to understand the way of thinking that people who draw pictures are always looking at, and it is possible to properly grasp the details of what they want to draw.

Even if you don't feel like drafts, let's start drawing while feeling the fun of painting colors!

Careful, detailed lessons are attractive. Start with the basics and usage of colored pencils

Chapter 1 lessons start with the basics. First, we will start with how to use colored pencils, and then we will learn the techniques of how to apply them, the mechanism of color, etc.

How do you use the brush of a pencilSurprisingly, it's something you're not aware of, but by practicing this carefully,A skill to paint over and over cleanly without color unevennessYou will be able to wear it.

“Painting colors” is simple yet profound, so as the lesson progresses, you'll encounter notices you haven't been aware of until now.

Then, in chapter 2, I practiced gradation based on apples. Dark, intense colors tend to give a slightly smooth finish when applied with solid paint, but if you use basic techniques, it will be transformed into a finish that has been upgraded a notch. You can express a variety of textures with just one way of moving colored pencils.

On the other hand, you'll learn about light-colored motifs in Chapter 3. The subject is raw eggs.

How should we express the texture when the shell is broken, the way the transparency of the white meat comes out, and the reflection and luster of light? Drawing weak colors is a more difficult and time-consuming task than strong colors, but once you wear them, the range of expressions you can express is much wider.

Getting ready and tidying up is a breeze! Very satisfied with the full kit contents

There are many art materials I use when drawing pictures, but among them, colored pencils are recommended items for beginners. Unlike paint, it doesn't use water, so

  • Feel free to start when you want to draw
  • Tidying up is easy
  • No need to recreate the same color the next time you start drawing
  • Work areas and clothes are less likely to get dirty

There are advantages such as.

There is plenty of attention to art materials so that people can become more familiar with colored pencil drawing. Recommended by creatorsHolbein artist colored lead with good color developmentBrushes andWaterford's SketchbookI'm choosing.

Colored pencils with good color development do not have stress when applied, and sketchbooks have a very high surface strength, so there is no need to worry that they will tear even if they are layered on top of each other.

And it's a tool that expands the range of expression in colored pencil drawings”Merz” was also included in the kit.

Born in 1983. Born in Kuma-gun, Kumamoto. It starts with reproductions of comics that I liked and continued to draw since I was young, and I became fascinated by the world of pictures.

I liked to move my body when I was a student, and then I decided to become a police officer and went to the Metropolitan Police Department.

I became a caricature investigator from my boss's advice and spent my days burning with a sense of mission, but someday my desire to “draw my own picture” grew, and I decided to become a painter.

Currently, as a painter, he works to spread the fun of painting and the appeal of colored pencils, such as creating painting works and teaching colored pencil drawing.

Creator Interviews

Q.What kind of activities do teachers usually do? Please introduce yourself briefly!

A.I work as a painter and colored pencil class instructor. I mainly create my works with colored pencils, but I also draw watercolors, pastel paintings, pencil drawings, and pen drawings.

Q.Please tell me about your experience and achievements so far

A.Born in Kumamoto. Before I became a painter, I worked as a police officer. At that time, I was also working as a portrait investigator.

Q. How did your teacher start drawing with colored pencils?

A.At first, I drew pencil and pastel drawings, but during the production of my work, there were parts of the screen where my hands were sweaty sometimes invisible to the eye, and when I put color on it, the dirt inevitably came up, and I couldn't hide it, so I had a hard time. It's the same as oil stains, and when I used oil-based colored pencils that I thought would be familiar if I treated oil with oil, I was able to draw without worrying about it, so I started using them afterwards. Of course, I have fun memories of using it a lot when I was a kid, and one of the factors is that it was a familiar art material.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

A.It all started when people who wanted to attend my classroom for various reasons but couldn't attend asked me to start online classes. I would like to be able to convey the appeal of colored pencils to many people.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

A.It is recommended for those who are interested in colored pencils, those who are not good at coloring, those who want to make it a hobby, such as those who want to draw realistically, and those who want to acquire skills.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?

A.The work isn't completed right away, and I think there are times when I think it's difficult. But if I carefully drew that steady time, I was able to draw a sense of accomplishment when it was completed, and I was able to draw it myself! Through this successful experience, I also want people to realize that painting is not a painting heart, and that a picture changes dramatically with a little thing, such as using tools carefully.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A.For those who want to enjoy colored pencils from now on, colored pencils are a familiar art material that makes drawing very easy. Will this kind of thing be applied through the work that you are going to draw only with such art materials? I would be happy if you could enjoy it with excitement. Of course, I think there is also steady work, but a slight change in consciousness really changes the range of expression. Let's enjoy colored pencils together.
