Class introduction

Hands-on practice is the most important way to improve rendering and visualization skills in architectural design. However, it is not easy for beginners to practice effectively on their own. For those who want to improve their rendering and visualization skills <All About Architectural Visualization Part 2> In class You can practice the entire process of rendering and visualization work sequentially according to the practical workflow of a professional architectural designer. In addition, post-production know-how using Photoshop, which is the flower of architectural visualization work, is also fully captured, so you can improve the completeness of the work through classes.

This class is for intermediate students who know the basic functions of SketchUp, V-Ray, and Photoshop, and for those who are stubborn with Part 1> of all things about architectural visualization. If you want to effectively improve your architectural visualization skills by making the content of the class completely your own We recommend that you take the Part 1 class in advance.

  • Adobe Photoshop 2022 (Also available in previous versions)

4 reasons why this class is special

❶ Efficiently learn the workflows of experienced practitioners

The classes are conducted according to the professional work process of a real architectural designer. The work process can be divided into 3 main steps: 1 step SketchUp modeling, 2 steps V-Ray work, and 3 steps Photoshop work.

  • Step 1 SketchUp modeling: Create the structure, surrounding environment, and indoor/outdoor elements through sketchup, and then proceed with a work method considering the post-production stage.
  • Step 2: V-ray work: Create materials and secure illuminance for the final render.
  • Step 3: Photoshop tasks: The step of synthesizing the background, vegetation, people, etc., and creating the atmosphere of the image.

* In this lesson, we will separate steps 1 and 2 to help you understand your classmates. However, in actual work, these two steps may not be clearly distinguished.

I can learn my work methods and know-how at each step by doing the entire process of creating an architectural perspective view and an interior perspective map. Based on this, let's develop a better method unique to all of your classmates!

❷ High-quality architecture/interior perspective production

High-quality image production must be supported by high-quality modeling. At this time, “High quality modeling” means a realistic structureI will. Also, “realistic structure” includes not only architectural structures, but also structures of various physical properties such as furniture and windows. However, if all architectural structures and physical structures were implemented in a 100% realistic structure, the amount of work would be too much, right?

In order to grow into a competitive designer, it is essential to work efficiently while having high quality. I will share with you the practical work process and teach you the know-how to distinguish between the parts of the perspective work that should be expressed with strength and the parts that can be reduced, and the technique of “gimmick” to make the structure look realistic. If you stick to the class, you can create a highly finished perspective view while spending less time than other designers.

❸ Making real materials!

From using V-Ray basic materials to making PBR materials

Creating materials in V-Ray is not difficult even for beginners. Some good results are guaranteed even if only V-Ray basic materials are used. However, creating high-quality images desired by intermediate and above designers is limited by basic materials alone.

  • PBR (Physics-Based Rendering Material) material making Begin from basic to advanced
  • V-ray Basic materialPractical techniques such as placement and transformation of the right load

In this class, I will share all of my work know-how as above. Based on this, you High quality images can be produced more efficiently. You can learn what kind of texture enhances realism and how to make it look more realistic even if it's the same material.

Post-Production using Photoshop

In order to enhance the realism of the created image, attention must be paid to modeling and rendering. Can an object made in 3D look more realistic than a photograph? It's not normal. That's why I The Photoshop Post-Production Step Is EssentialI think so.

Many people don't know the importance of Photoshop when it comes to rendering/visualizing. However, by combining actual photos in Photoshop, you can make the image more realistic and create a more beautiful atmosphere. So I'm sharing all my Photoshop know-how so that you can create high-quality results that are as good as foreign artists!

Hallo

I'm Manoamo, a freelance architectural designer.

There is a common dilemma experienced by people who are new to architectural design. I want to make my work more appealing, but I don't know how to do it. I wanted to create a class for people like this.

This class covered the usage and know-how of various programs used in architectural design, and the overall workflow of architectural visualization. All information on architectural visualization is divided into Part 1 and Part 2 for classmates' step-by-step strategic learning.

In Part 2, I'll try to upload the quality of the work I've worked on in Photoshop. If you already know modeling and rendering, please look forward to Part 2 classes following Part 1!

Based on knowledge in the field of architecture and interior architecture, we will help all participants in the class to create more realistic and high-quality images.
