Knowledge about cream

You will learn knowledge about cream, such as coloring methods to make flower cakes look more beautiful and tips on how to handle cream.

Decoration knowledge

What are some tips for decorating a cake beautifully with flowers? Anyone who knows certain laws will be able to easily make beautiful flower cakes.

Why don't you enjoy decorating flower cakes by learning the basics of flower squeezing?

In this class, you will learn the basics of making cream for flower squeezing, and we will introduce flower squeezing by leveling up from the basics.

Actually, the basics of flower squeezing are all the same. There is a basic movement, and if you change it little by little and make changes, new flowers will be born.

In the lesson, we first explain the movement of the “basic of basics” base while actually making flowers, and then proceed with the next flower changing slightly from that basic... By making it together, before I knew it, “I was able to narrow down flowers like this too!” You will be able to feel the growth.

Also, instead of having them acquire ad hoc techniques, by firmly acquiring the basics, you can arrange and enjoy it in a wide range of ways you can enjoy it yourself.

Furthermore, flower cakes are fun to decorate by squeezing flowers. There are certain rules for decorating flowers that make them look beautiful. I will also teach you such techniques well, so I would like you to be able to make wonderful flower cakes.

Effects you can expect after attending the course

  • Learn the techniques necessary for flower cakes, from how to make cream to squeezing flowers, and cake decorating
  • Learn about the various variations of flower shibori and flower cake
  • Learn as many times as you like with videos that you can learn over and over again at your own pace

Recommended classes for people like this

  • Those who know that there are techniques for squeezing flowers, but are too difficult to take on the challenge
  • Those who have experienced and learned flower shibori in their own way, but haven't learned it the way they think and have left it as it is
  • Those who want to incorporate flower cake technology as a new cake decoration technique

When attending the course

In this class, we sell kits selected by creators. Check out “Go see the kit” for more information about the kit and recommended materials and tools to use in this class.

The kit includes a complete set of essential tools for making flower cakes! It's not something you can get at the same store all at once, so it's the perfect kit for those who want to have everything they need.

Also, a cream swatch is included in the all-in-one kit. Butter cream is difficult to make. I think it's hard to understand the correct answer until you get used to it. Once you know the cream that has been made well for flower squeezing, you will be able to understand whether the cream you made yourself is successful.

*Purchasing a kit is not required. You can also take the course with your own tools.

What makes this class special

First, you'll learn the basic flower squeezing

First, make 3 types of cupcakes. This is because I want you to focus on flower squeezing first.

By squeezing the basic flowers, we will decorate the small world of cupcakes in a cute way with flowers. It has a cute finish with just a little bit of technology, so it's the perfect cake to work on first.

Gorgeous Whole Cake Decorations

In Chapter 4, I will make a whole cake with crescent decorations. Whole cake decorations will have a well-balanced and gorgeous finish if you apply a good difference in elevation. You can also practice balancing flowers by combining tall flowers and small flowers. The crescent (crescent) type looks great even if there are not so many flowers, so it's easy to work on when decorating a whole cake for the first time.

Try out some of the more difficult decorations

The final chapter is a slightly more difficult lesson.

In addition to squeezing flowers, you will learn paint decoration using a palette knife to make flower cakes look even more beautiful. I'm going to try something a little difficult at the base too! But it's fine if you learn how to use it from the basics. Let's be able to enjoy the arrangement.

Q. What kind of activities does the teacher do?

Confectionery classes are held face-to-face and online. Half of the month is divided into flower cake and the other half is divided into fresh cream decoration cake for lessons. In addition to course lessons, we also offer one-off lessons such as seasonal cakes. Like flower cake, there is a wide range of menus, from lessons where you learn techniques that you can enjoy watching to lessons to make delicious cakes.

Q. How did you get into flower squeezing?

When I was thinking about decorating a cake, I thought it would be cute if flowers were on it, and while looking at the book, I arranged the tools and narrowed down the rose flowers by imitating them. I'm completely self-taught, but now I can narrow down various flowers with each passing round. Meanwhile, when I saw a flower cake from Korea on SNS, I thought, “This is the cake I want to make!” I thought, researched how to make buttercream, increased the variety of mouthpieces, increased the variety of flowers that could be made, and started making flower cakes.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

When I was thinking about starting video lessons, I became interested in CLASS101's online classes, which have a solid system. There are a wide variety of classes, and I thought that if there was flower cake among them, people who don't know about flower cakes would be interested and know about it.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class?

It's a sense of distance within reach, as if you're learning in a real lesson. I've been taking flower cake lessons for a long time, so I'm wondering if I've come to understand a lot of points that students don't understand or can't do. I will explain the points you don't understand or cannot do, along with how to use the tools, the angle you want them to see the most, illustrations, etc. I want you to watch it over and over again. I think the message you hear will be different depending on your level at that time. Also, by looking at the same thing over and over again, the flow comes into your head, so I think you will be able to move your hands and make it smoothly.

Q. What kind of experience do you want your classmates to experience through this class?

Do you think squeezing flowers is difficult?

It might seem a little difficult at first.

That's because I don't really know how mouthwash, cream, and flower squeezing actually proceed. I think flower squeezing is not a difficult technique, and it is something you get used to by making it over and over again. As you do it many times, you will gradually understand the cream, the mouthpiece, and the procedure for squeezing flowers. Then I wonder if we should gradually do things that were difficult and impossible until now! Let's try it like this next time! It's going to change to fun that you can understand. And what you have in front of you is a beautifully finished flower. It's a bit difficult at first, and I think the sense of accomplishment that you will gradually be able to do is impressive at the beginning of the flower squeezing. Then, I decorate the cake beautifully with my own flowers. It makes for a special cake.

Decorating can also be a bit difficult at first.

But there are certain rules for decorating. I want them to know that and make more and more beautiful cakes in their own way. In this class, I want you to experience the fun of squeezing flowers, the fun of cake decorating, and a lot of excitement when the cake is ready.

Q. Please give a message to your classmates!

Flower cake is a very nice cake. When I first saw flower cake, this was the cake I wanted to make! I thought. It's cute, gorgeous, and very special, yet it's all edible. I don't think there are many wonderful cakes like this. And the great thing about these flowers is that they are made of cream and a small mouthpiece. You can create many kinds of flowers from such a small tool. And these flowers are created by layering petals one by one with one's own hands. It all comes down to our own hands. That's why I'm so addicted to it. I wonder if I should do it this way, why not try straining it? The time you make while thinking about this and that is something special. And I would like you to put the flowers on the cake and decorate it, and enjoy the finished cake from the bottom of my heart!
