Skills You’ll Learn
About the class
“I'm tired of just making LEGO products according to instructions”
“However, it's very difficult to create something creative with LEGO”
“LEGO isn't enough to make a creative work”
“My work isn't complete, so I'm ashamed to show it to others”
The above stories are stories I've heard many times in lectures for children, students, and adults. I've also been working with LEGO bricks since 2014, but it's always an idea that comes to mind when planning and creating new works.
Nevertheless, I think I was able to continue working steadily because they left warm comments rather than reviews or criticism on my creative work, which I was very bad at, and my “creative self-esteem” increased thanks to those comments. Therefore, through this class, I Raise students' creative self-esteem and the possibility of becoming a real artistI'd like to show you.
Course effects
This class does not teach creative techniques.
Instead, you learn the following three things, like me 'Brick Artist'You'll be able to do it.
1. I felt like I was in a daze Challenge creativity 'now' by lowering the entry barrier to creativitydoing
- Classes are conducted with as few LEGO bricks as anyone who has enjoyed LEGO to some extent would have. I also reduced the gap between class and reality as much as possible by using materials that were as similar as possible to the students' material conditions.
2. Merging with LEGO bricks While experiencing various genres, my own genreFind
There are several genres that come to mind when you think of “creations made with LEGO.” However, in this class, I introduced the various genres of work (painting, three-dimensional, lighting, and calligraphy) that I had been working on for a long time, and while trying to make them with their own materials, the students Structured to break the framework of LEGO creation and expand the scope of creativityI did.
3. By participating in a convention 'Debuting as an artist' and 'getting certified as an artist'
It's nice to make a creative work of my own, but that The joy of sharing with othersIt's also important. You can view wonderful and beautiful works at any time regardless of location or time through social media, but I think the best way to see a work is to actually see any work. Therefore, we will teach you how to participate in the exhibition with the creative works created by the students through the class. whereby Beyond the hobby of creating LEGO, one step further as an artist and as an expert I hope you move forward.
Furthermore, I will also tell you how artists who create works using LEGO bricks can also be certified as artists.

jerky factory
Hello, my name is jerky factory and I'm a brick artist that makes fun things with LEGO bricks:)
Since I'm doing my favorite work, there are days when I greet you in a class where I share my experiences!
I'm working on creating art, but I'm not an art or design-related major.
However, they are not talented people even more.
However, LEGO Bricks have so much potential that even people without talent like me can create works.
I think those who read this post before taking the class also have enough ability to turn this potential into a wonderful work. However, I don't think it takes a very small amount of courage to start something new.
Through this class, I wanted to show you creations of various genres and give you a little courage to say, “You can create even if it's not necessarily a genre that many people make mainstream.” I hope LEGO Bricks will be a good tool and friend for students and students to express their favorite things through this class.
