[Creator Interview]

Q. What led you to start your current activities?

A. I've been drawing illustrations since I was a student, so while vaguely thinking that I should get a job where I could make use of something, I didn't feel like I could eat just by drawing, so I learned graphic design at a vocational school and got a job as a designer. While I was working, I really wanted to draw pictures, so I started working as an illustrator.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A. I would be happy if people could feel that coming up with ideas is not that difficult by breaking down the conceptual words as simply as possible. Also, I would be happy if people knew how much everything they feel and see in their daily lives becomes material for “ideas” and “motifs.”

I would be happy if people who want to enjoy their own illustrations more as a hobby and those who want to do illustration work can use this course according to their needs. Illustrations, which are nonverbal expressions, are also useful for conveying feelings to people overseas.
