Hi there, I'm Kate, an illustrator originally from South Korea and currently living in California. I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Art and have worked as a graphic designer in both South Korea and the USA. My passion for bringing plants to life through my imagination is what drives my love for illustration.

My artistic approach is all about evoking emotions over perfecting technical details. I have studied various art techniques, but I don't consider perspective or technical errors essential to my work. Ultimately, my goal is to create artwork that inspires people and leaves a lasting impression.

Apart from my work as an illustrator and designer, I have also taught watercolor classes for beginners and shared my flower drawing sketches and coloring methods on Instagram. With a followers over 300K, I am the author of "Drawing and Painting Beautiful Flowers," a watercolor guidebook that is perfect for beginners. With my diverse experience, I hope to share my skills and knowledge in an accessible and inspiring way.
