While you have a main job, work life, or school life

I want to find an opportunity to enjoy financial freedom more than anyone else

It seems easy to find everyone studying hard.

But other than “economic freedom,”

If you are a Korean person, there is another common dream in life that you are aiming for.

immediately “Being free from English”It is.

Having unobstructed conversations with foreigners and sharing English news such as CNN and BBC with everyday life,

It seems to be one of the major goals in life that many people definitely want to achieve.

What is the learning tool for this course you are watching, the “English newspaper”

“Aren't English newspapers too difficult?”

  • It covers the main article through an article in an English newspaper published in Korea,

  • The lectures are organized with headlines that often appear on foreign news.

  • If you usually watch even a little bit of news, it's not difficult because it's a topic that comes up over and over again.

“News and newspapers will become stories of the past even after just one day!”

News and newspaper articles are often described as highly volatile.

It's true that there are many new updates and changes even after just one day.

though Because social issues are often repeated

Most news and newspaper articles follow a similar framework.

  • Stocks, interest rates, and oil prices are rising and falling

  • A change in government or a successful re-election

  • When a disaster occurs, it recovers

  • After the disease spreads, it calms down

  • Demand for travel has skyrocketed and declined

However, there are definitely repetitive expressions, similar expressions, and favorite words in the news.

In other words, If you set a large framework to some extent, English newspapers will speed up your English studyIt is.

So that you can study English and study current affairs in parallel in your daily life in the future

“Hi, I'm Anna!”

I'm a pure domestic English learner.

I love English so much that I have participated in English speaking contests and English discussion contests every year since I was a student,

I won the prize for good grades.

So much so that even when I chose a college major, I chose English language and literature without hesitation

I was always confident in English, and I liked it very much.

As a simple thought, if I listen to CNN that natives listen to, I think my English skills will improve a lot

Since I was in elementary school, I've been searching, listening, and shadowing on my own.

Thanks to this, I became fluent in listening and speaking, and I was able to come across a lot of words appearing in the news, but

I don't understand what the hell this means.

Of the dictionary meanings of the words, it was difficult to understand at all what they meant in this news.

To make up for this, I deliberately looked for courses on “Current Affairs English” and “Introduction to Interpretation and Translation” during my college major classes.

“Are English proficiency and current affairs English different?” So much so that I think

I didn't know the true meaning of news articles, and I only studied by memorizing them.

Then, quite by accident, a time came when English newspapers and news were suddenly easy to understand.

That's when I became an office worker and began my life as an economic entity in the household/society.

Since I became independent, my experience was definitely different.

As much as I earn, the money I pay is different, and the social benefits I receive also change,

The financial system continues to change...

I couldn't stop being interested if I didn't have an interest.

As a result, the experience of news and newspaper articles has also completely changed.

Because I can empathize better, I can understand faster,

As the amount of input into Hangul articles increased, English articles were also more accessible.

Even if there are still many words you don't know

Intuition, or “intuition,” which can infer the meaning of that word, can also be developed.

In order to effectively study languages with news/newspapers

Current background knowledge on domestic and global issues is very important and essential.

The study I tried to give up on English newspapers as an English learning tool “Crisis”

A must-learn for everyone “Chance”I'd like to make it for you.

“Should an English newspaper be read by someone who is good at English?”

Someone said, “How do I study English?” If you ask

It's really embarrassing to say that you study with English newspapers.

I'm afraid that the other person will see my English skills as a native speaker, and I really want to hide it.

But can simply speaking English well mean that you understand English newspapers and news well?

Of course, people who are good at English will be able to read fluently with few words they don't know,

People who are not interested in world history, that is, people who have no background knowledge of current affairs

There is a high possibility that you don't understand the exact meaning of the article.

As someone who also experienced work life before my life as an English teacher

Nowadays, many people are very interested in their own self-development

I like to gain a lot of background knowledge about current affairs, such as society, politics, economics, and culture

Also, I know very well that it is sincere.

For those of you who are so interested in the world, English newspapers are a great tool for learning English.

You can do better only if you have a high level of understanding of the world.

I think I should do something for the new year

For those who are burdened with doing separate self-development in English

I highly recommend my course.

Through the “Insight English” course

Let's improve our current affairs English skills and broaden our eyes on the world together!

We're doing well, and we can do better! :)
