With rapid growth and rapidly changing social structures, modern people have grown accustomed to injection-based education where they have to throw away time to reflect on themselves and become good at work. As a result, I can't relax in my own life, and my level of happiness is very low. In particular, Korea also has painful data that it has the highest suicide rate. Korea, which has grown in this way, is now an IT and content powerhouse that is ranked among the top 10 global economic powers.
The country has eaten and lived, but from an individual perspective, there are too many sick people who have gone out of their way. We cannot enjoy complete happiness within our family members, in our work lives, or within any community. Why would that be the case? Now we must make an effort to regain our happiness. The first step begins with a change in “me.” “Home” changes only when “I” changes. Then, the “organization” changes and the “society” changes.
At the center of that change, I think the tool called coaching is very effective. When I opened a coaching center in Korea in the early 2000s when I was unfamiliar with the concept of coaching, I thought, “How to ask questions? The response was, “How would that help?” but now it's changed a lot. Coaching helps us live more like ourselves.
Coaching mindsets and skills not only improve conversation skills and interpersonal skills, but also allow them to immerse themselves in worthwhile work with confidence and a positive attitude, away from past hurts and negative feelings that were holding them back. Through the process, you will have the ability to achieve happiness and success by selecting the important things in life and devoting time and resources to the most important things.
