About the class

Attention pollution-obsessive parents!

Give your child sand as a gift.

Hygiene conditions are directly linked to a child's health, so parents are bound to be sensitive to their surroundings. That's why I'm afraid of children getting close to the sand.”Pollution obsession'There are so many parents. Thanks to this, there are now more urethane playgrounds than sand-floor playgrounds.

However, sand is a very good game for children's emotional development, as it can be used as a method of psychotherapy. How about getting away from the obsession with pollution and gifting your child friendly nature?

Not an expensive plastic toy

'Real child education' through the simplest natural play materials!

Through the play process of piling up, digging, knocking, and breaking sand, children can learn how to focus on themselves. They learn how to express themselves naturally by imagining and implementing the forms they want without anyone teaching them.

Also, it is said that stirring and breaking sand emits negative or aggressive feelings within oneself and has the effect of relieving stress, so it can be said that it is the best education that can be done naturally.

Play in the sand to develop your vocabulary and body!

“Moist, squishy, cold, warm”

Tell us concepts you can't understand without experiencing them firsthand through playing in the sand. If you see and experience it with your own eyes, you can easily understand the concept, and your vocabulary will grow rapidly as you see it. Squeezing and placing sand and careful trimming work is also very helpful for children to develop fine motor skills.

If you interact with your parents while voluntarily participating in sand play, you will find your child radiating bright and positive energy. Children who have learned that it's fun to play with their parents are happy to meet others!

Course effect

  • You can recognize and compare various shapes while receiving tactile and visual stimulation while creating multiple works.
  • You can do delicate work by touching and experiencing the sand yourself.
  • Even children who aren't interested in playing can improve their attention by focusing on making things.

Recommended target

  • A child who has poor attention and is unable to focus on one thing for a long time
  • A child who wants to be good at art but is hesitant because he is not familiar with expression
  • A child who is obsessive about being wrong or ruined and is afraid of failure
  • Parents looking for new games to play with their kids at home

What makes this class special

① A sand sculpture class taught by Ji Dae-young, the 'first Korean sand sculptor' at the World Sand Sculpture Competition!

There is a common sight you can see when you meet children in person on site through numerous sand-playing classes. They look hesitant because they don't know what to start with. I tried waiting to respect the child's imagination, but surprisingly, many children quickly lost interest because they couldn't actually express the imagination in their heads.

So I decided to leave imagination entirely to children and become a teacher who can teach them how to express themselves. If you learn various techniques of expression by following the guidelines I suggest in playing in the sand, children will learn how to express themselves, and they will have interest and confidence. If you create an image drawn through your own imagination, you will get unique and creative results unique to your child!

Let's play in the delicate yet fun sand together with the sand sculptor Ji Dae-young, who won the World Sand Sculpture Competition for the first time in Korea.

Sand Sculpture (Sand Sculpture)

When I first came across a piece of sand of great quality overseas, I fell in love with its charm.

That's how I got into this field.

Travel the world to meet, work, and share opinions with top sand sculptors

I learned a lot while devoting myself to the work.

Sand sculpture is a very delicate and difficult genre the deeper you go.

Also, since there is no right answer, many things are applied.

In addition to professional carving tools, they use a variety of things, such as cake molds, measuring spoons, animal hair combs, and straws.

I thought about actually being able to experience and apply many things at the child's own level.

  1. Touch, feel, and make the best tool
  2. Easily available disposable products can also be tools, and how to apply them
  3. An advanced course to actually embody images drawn in a child's head

Through these various processes, children understand materials and structures

It gives me confidence to learn and create various ways of expression.

I hope it will be the foundation for children to grow into new and creative talents in the future.
