3 reasons why this class is special

① Docents sought by the International Docent Association

The ultimate goal of the International Docent Association is to guide art into people's lives and create a rich and vibrant society. Therefore, docents trained by international docents are not docents in the narrow sense of the word that only work in exhibition halls. We want to train docents who deliver art not only in exhibition halls but also in various on-off communities throughout our lives.

After becoming a docent, the International Docent Association hopes to open the door to that opportunity so that art can be delivered to people in various spaces. The International Docent Association wants to open a place where you can leap into a wide range of art-related fields with just one job called a docent. We will take the lead in creating a platform where Docent can sell its own content, and we will do our best to cooperate with various organizations or organizations so that Docent can carry out various activities with various opportunities.

② Free docent workbook to commemorate the launch of the class!

To commemorate the launch of the class, we will be offering a free docent school workbook for just one month. Get ready for the certification exam by looking at actual pictures and writing scripts.

③ From the US docent master's program to the establishment of a docent association!

I continued my research and research on docents through my Master of Arts Management program at Eastern Michigan University. After completing the docent training course at the University of Michigan, I created a docent tour model by comparing Korean and American docents. We are actually doing various docent activities in the US and Korea based on this model.

I really enjoyed appreciating works of art in galleries and museums, etc., so I wanted to do research on art appreciation. When I volunteered as an exhibition commentator (docent) at the University of Michigan Museum of Art, I experienced how to become a docent from theory to practice. At the same time, I established the International Docent Association by collecting and researching materials on how to become a professional docent and how to appreciate art through a university master's program. We aim to train docents who can provide high-quality exhibition explanations at various domestic and international exhibitions through the International Docent Association's International Professional Docent Qualification Course.

Currently, I am practicing healing through art appreciation for mothers who are tired of education through art appreciation through art appreciation through an art appreciation community called Salon de Daechi.
