Creator interview

Q. What led you to start digital illustration?

A. I started drawing mainly analog illustrations at age 14, and began receiving money for painting as a professional at age 18. Actually, I started drawing digital illustrations when I was 20, and I made the transition to digital in earnest when I was 21. It's only been 2 years. It all started when I became independent as a freelancer. I learned it on my own because I thought there was a wide range of jobs where decidals could be used rather than analog ones.

Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?

A. I want you to draw so much that you think your pictures are the best. If you have that kind of feeling, you will feel drawing is fun.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A. Drawing is fun, so let's have fun learning together without getting bogged down!
