Are you considering your next career as a web designer?
Do you want to become a freelancer, but are you worried about your competitiveness in the market?

Why I'm worried about my career (1) Positioning as a web planner

“Will my experience help me when I change jobs?” “The systems I've experienced a lot are now rarely used, but what about my career?” In the IT industry, which continues to develop and change, you may have questions about whether the work and technology you are doing will be useful.

Why I'm worried about my career (2) Treating me as a web planner

As developer jobs came to the forefront, their unconventional treatment attracted attention. However, unlike developers, the treatment of planners, especially service web planners and UI/UX web planners, is relatively minimal, so the question of whether they will continue their lifespan as web planners continues because of this.

For those who don't see a clue to solving their problems

I recommend expanding your career with SI and next-generation convergence projects

A “next-generation system (next-generation convergence project)” is a system that ideally integrates business and IT to effectively reflect and support company-wide business strategies such as finance.

As far as we know, phone banking and internet banking in the financial sector are next-generation systems that first appeared, and now they have evolved into a convergence system that provides data (My Data) that analyzes personal financial patterns and information.

Reasons to do a next-generation convergence project (1) Clear demand and prospects

It is developed not only in the financial sector, but also by most public institutions and companies that require a combination of IT and business, and although it varies depending on the development of technology, new construction is required every 5-7 years. In particular, demand for system platforms incorporating big data, AI, My Data, and deep learning is increasing according to technologies such as big data, AI, My Data, and deep learning.

Building a next-generation system is a long-term project that takes about 2 years, and new construction is required every 5 to 7 years. If you compare the number of major financial institutions and public institutions in Korea, it can be seen that the demand for projects to build next-generation systems is very high.

Reasons to do next-generation convergence projects (2) Lack of manpower compared to demand, reliable treatment

However, compared to demand, there are extremely few web planners who can do this. It is an environment where it is difficult to have an in-house planning and development team, so called outsourcers to hire freelancers to develop, but there are few web planners who can do this, so they are constantly experiencing labor difficulties. Therefore, the treatment for web planners who can build next-generation systems is significantly higher than in other fields of web planning. This is why I recommend next-generation convergence projects to people with experience in web planning.

Is a next-generation convergence project possible with my abilities and experience?

If you've been planning services and systems, it's not difficult to expand to a next-generation convergence project. However, the most important thing is to look at what fields I can cover with my planning skills and find out what areas need to be complemented.

Since the majority of professionals are currently working, a deep understanding of this field, guidance on the scope of work, and methods is extremely rare. Having gone through the entire history of web planning for 24 years, from the introduction of web planning to the construction of next-generation systems, I will tell you everything about web planning methods and business processes for next-generation convergence projects.

Next Generation Convergence Project Roadmap

To become a next-generation convergence planner, it is necessary not only to understand the process, but also to have practical construction references. However, there are few ways for beginners to get hands-on experience. For such people, we have organized a process where they can experience everything by creating virtual project tasks based on next-generation convergence project types that have actually been ordered in the last 10 years. We will complete the roadmap for attending classes and practical training.

Course effects

You can master the procedures and work methods for carrying out web planning for SI and next-generation projects.
Planners who could only design a single system logic can implement integrated designs such as integrated logic and linked logic.
A planner who only planned a simple service site focusing on the convenience of user traffic can plan a multi-platform to improve user system performance.
Second-generation web planners can develop a systematic web planning theory to become 3rd to 4th generation web planners.
You can develop theoretical/practical skills that can be put into SI and next-generation projects.

Class nominees

A web planner who has more than 3 years of experience but is thinking about the direction of his next career
Experienced web planners who want to work on financial platforms based on big data and financial system planning
Elementary/intermediate/advanced web planners who have not learned the SI web planning standard workflow steps in a systematic manner
Graduates and leavers who want to become freelancers
Freelance web planners who want to increase unit prices by improving their skills

What makes this class special

① Presenting a roadmap for a web planner's career direction

The most important thing for rapid growth is to understand your competencies and required competencies. We will help you learn efficiently, focusing on “What is important for future web planners,” “What is the direction I can move forward in my career and what I need,” and how to start and what is necessary for each year/major project career.

② Learn with examples of actual outputs for each business process/task type (viewer provided)

Next-generation convergence projects are data from the financial sector and public institutions in particular, so it's difficult to understand the process without doing the work yourself. The lessons are conducted using materials similar to reality by analyzing and combining examples of projects over 10 years. You can develop a sense of practice based on materials and examples that are actually used.

③ The role and method of a web planner within the testing/stabilization period

After finishing a task and going through the design stage, the role of the developer becomes more important than the planner in most cases. However, depending on the situation, web planners participate in writing test scenarios and manuals during the testing and stabilization period. Depending on the project or organization, there are places where this role is defined as the role of a web planner. This is because the person who designed the front desk directly knows the nature of the screen and the normal output value of the function. It is not an essential role of an SI web planner, but since it is a necessary role, I will tell you the roles and methods that must be performed during the testing/stabilization period.
