Photo lighting

I'll tell you easily and accurately.

How good would it be if someone taught light easily?

In order to take better pictures of myself, I read overseas books, and I thought a lot about the above by recording a lighting log book (record of the lighting design process) every time I had time to spare after shooting.

Depending on the light, the result may look completely different even with the same subject. In order to get a good picture, I went through a process of many failures and trial and error while searching for the optimal light according to the subject. I got it in the process Based on know-how and formulas, I would like to inform students so that they can learn photo lighting more quickly and accurately.

How to make light be on your side

After all, photography is a genre of art that starts with light and ends with light. If you understand light and know how to use it, you will also be able to use photography lighting naturally. This class It can be said that through the process of observing and understanding the characteristics of light, it is about learning how to make use of light by making it internal.

Part 1 Understanding light

There are two types of light: natural light and artificial light. Natural light is a very good lighting. There is a disadvantage that it changes from time to time with changes in time or weather, but after understanding the characteristics of light through natural light, artificial light I plan to apply light characteristics to the product using my desired light source and artificial light that can control the light quality.

We'll learn how to use basic lighting, what accessories we can use and apply to create the light we want, and how to use a reflector that changes the quality of the photo even if we use it a little better.

Part 3 Building Your Own Home Studio and Designing Lighting

Great photos are created through meticulous planning and lighting design. Before proceeding with the shooting, we will write a shooting notebook based on the properties and uses of light and lighting that we have learned earlier, and will design a simulated light. I'll also show you how to set up a simple shooting set in the corner of the house to implement the design so that you can easily practice.

Part 4 Perfect with various example exercises!

Hello, I'm Seok-geun, a photographer. I majored in photography in Japan, went back to Korea, went through commercial studios and social commerce, and experienced a lot of experience through shooting in various genres (people, products, food, living, home appliances, underwater photography, etc.), and the most difficult part I felt was “How can I get better quality?” It was.

In order to get better results on my own, I also read overseas books, and every time I have time to spare after shooting, I record a writing log book and ask, “How good would it be if someone taught me this part a little easier? I thought a lot about it.

Unlike art photography, product photography is an area that requires a lot of technical elements, so in order to reflect the characteristics of the product and the needs of the client, it is very important to understand how to use lighting and accumulate your own shooting data.

I hope this course will be an opportunity to help many people easily understand product photography and lighting techniques.
