Our Bukchon Dancheong Workshop is working with Bukchon Buddhist Art Preservation Institute and Seoul City For the development and complete transmission of traditional culture, we have continued the family business for the second generation. What is “Dancheong”?
Dancheong is a representative color of an important traditional wooden structure in Korea, and is painted in obangshoku (blue, red, yellow, white, black)It refers to. Dancheong's purpose is not only to beautify, but also to protect buildings from rain, wind, and pests.
I think you've fallen in love with the beauty of Dancheong at our palace, which is visited by many people! Through this class, you don't have to look up for a long time by raising your head to many people, I would like to share Dancheong as the person closest to the lives of our ancestors.
