In this class, I will teach you how to make pattern design illustrations from the basics, such as how to use tools, so that even beginners who don't know how to use the iPad version of Illustrator can enjoy it.
The pattern design drawn in this class is not a so-called “pattern” design where one illustration is automatically spread out with tools, etc., but a pattern design is created with one illustration.
I don't know how to make a pattern design, and even when I search, there are only monotonous patterns, and I don't know how to make a stylish design! ... We will solve such problems!
The curriculum includes not only design, but also chami style techniques such as how to make stylish colors, how to make goods with original designs, and how to use original goods sales sites.

The curriculum can be broadly divided into three themes.
1. Basics of how to use the iPad version of Illustrator

When I learn pattern design in class, I create flower and cat pattern design illustrations as role models. It comes with original illustrations that can be traced (traced), so even those who don't have confidence in painting can create works with peace of mind.
Once the work is completed following the role model, I would like to try my own design of my choice. Even if you can draw several motifs, I think that there are times when the method of combining them to create a pattern design or image does not work out the way you want with just your own ideas.

My name is chami and I work in design, selling original design goods through event stores and online sales. My dream is to establish an original textile brand, and I am working and disseminating activities on SNS.
I have received several voices saying that they want them to teach me how to design on SNS, and I also wanted to do teaching work in the future, so I am very happy to have this kind of place.
We value communication and opinions from customers when opening event stores and SNS activities, and we conduct surveys to reflect them in goods and designs, and have fun working with everyone.
On SNS, I post patterns and illustrations, express other goods I want to make with illustrations and actually create and post them, and distribute smartphone wallpapers and icons for free while disseminating what I feel during activities and what I want to do in the future.

Q. What kind of activities does the teacher do? Please tell me about your teacher!
A. I make illustrations and goods with original designs and distribute them on SNS, open event stores, sell goods, and do freelance design work.
Q. How did your teacher get into pattern design?
A. As a result of my job change, I wanted to do a pattern design job that I had wanted to do since I was a student, so I started activities.
Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?
A. Originally, I didn't have confidence in myself, but when I changed jobs, I strongly wanted to “change”, looked up various books and videos, developed myself, and overcame my weaknesses, and said, “People can change so much!” I realized the limitless possibilities of believing in myself. As a result, I thought that someday “I want to do a job that leads people in a good direction.” I never thought that one of my dreams would come true so quickly.
Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class?
A. I will explain how to use the iPad version of Illustrator from the beginning and basics so that anyone, including beginners, can understand it. Also, I made this class so that even those who are not good at illustrations can create it.
Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?
A. I want you to know the fun of creating pattern design illustrations. The pattern design is diverse and can be used for a variety of things, and the expression changes depending on where you see it and the scale, so it's very cute and fun.
Handmade is popular, so you can produce and sell original goods such as making fabrics, etc., and since it's an online age, you can also study designs to be used on the web, and when you can use the iPad version of Illustrator, the range of illustrations and designs will expand dramatically ♪
There are quite a few people who draw illustrations with paint software, but once you can use Illustrator, your level of illustration will increase, so I definitely want you to take this opportunity to do it.
