An attractive illustration with a unique, kitschy feel

Hallo illustrators Soup effectIt's. When you see something, what do you respond to first? I've always been the first to see and respond to color. They also collected beautifully colored posters and cosmetics even if they weren't used. As a result, even when I draw a picture naturally, rather than a deep and detailed description I've put more effort into sketching and color schemes that will enhance the appeal of color. I've prepared this class to show you how fun it is to fill black and white sketches with attractive colors.

I'll give you a shortcut to finding style

There are probably many people who want to have their own style, but don't know how to find it. I did that too. I didn't have my own style from the beginning. There were a lot of painting styles I liked, and I lost a lot because I didn't know what style to draw and how to draw. And I know how difficult that process is. whereupon With the hope that you won't get lost, I will generously share my trial-and-error know-how.

I use Clip Studio and tablet to draw pictures. The basic functions of the tools used while drawing digitally are almost similar. though If you use the useful features only in Clip Studio, you can draw a little easier. I'll pick just the features I need and introduce them to you. Let's improve work efficiency a little more!

Completion is something you make

Have you ever had a satisfying and beautiful sketch, but stopped or weren't satisfied because you were afraid of the description? Or, do you think it's not complete without depicting shadows or light? Not many of you know that it is possible to create a complete picture with minimal description. I'll show you how to express and direct attractive characters even with few descriptions. Don't be afraid of coloring and depiction anymore.

Characters created by attractive Deforma

When drawing characters, I think one of the things that everyone is curious about is “how do I draw them to look attractive?” The correct answer is deform. It's no exaggeration to say that Deforma creates the character's atmosphere. The design starts with the basic shape of the character, the shape of the human body and face.

So I'll start by showing you the basic proportions of the human body. And that's not all. We'll explore everything from basic proportions to how to deform in an attractive way. The unique deform is actually no different. You can make it too. Shall we try it?

A variety of colors, unique and popping colors

There are so many kinds of colors in the world. You might be wondering which of these colors to use to look attractive. The reason it's hard to use color is literally because there are so many options. I'll show you how to reduce those options. We'll make it easier for you to choose beautiful colors. Also, I plan to create a unique color combination that I can say is my style when I put together the pictures.

Please tell the character's story

It would be boring if there were only characters, right? When characters and props are together, they look more attractive, and characters also have a story. I'll show you how to design props with a unique concept, not just props, and describe them so that you can feel the material. Of course, drawing props isn't difficult either!

Now it's time to show the world your very own character that you've kept in your head!

It was definitely a great idea, but there were times when it was hard to know where to start and how to draw it. When I tried to draw a character that was only in my head, my hands might not follow me. From how to envision characters, I'll also show you how to clearly capture the abstract thoughts and tastes in your head on a canvas. You'll learn how to identify and express your tastes through various references.

Characters brought back to life with my own stories

I enjoy the most when I bring my beautifully designed characters to life. The characters also live and breathe just because of the story. If you present characters with a variety of emotions, time, and colors, it's no longer just a character design. It's your own story, brought to life by you. Would you like to tell me your story now?

You'll discover the joy of creating a small world with the thoughts in your head.
