How to become a real illustrator

Here are some practical tips for people who want to work as an illustrator.

“I was happiest when I spent painting after work.”

Hello, I'm a painter. I majored in crafts, and after I graduated, I began my career working in product directing and visual planning for a fashion company. While I was working, I always had vague dreams about painting. For me, I was happiest when I spent my time painting after work. Eventually, I quit my job because I wanted to paint.

My dream didn't come true right away, but I've been painting every day for 7 years, I'm working as an illustrator who has gone back and forth:) I want to share with you the precious pictures that healed and grew my heart.

What do you learn?

Point 1.

All About iPad Drawing & Find Your Own Drawing Style

“There are so many painting styles and techniques, where should I start?” In order to relieve that worry, in this class, we will try to complete various styles of paintings together. In addition to the sense of accomplishment of completing a painting, the focus was on making it possible for you to learn techniques naturally.

Also, instead of just looking at the picture and drawing as it is, I will look for my own painting style that makes use of my color and personality. Watch my work process and experience how I apply my own colors and styles. By the time you work on your own after the course, you'll have found a painting style that suits you.

I'll share all of the painting know-how I learned while heading to the ground and tips on iPad.

Point 2.

Use a variety of brushes, from colored pencils to paint feel

With just one iPad, you'll draw a variety of finished pictures using a colored pencil feel, paint feel, and rich textures.

The feel of the picture varies a lot depending on which brush you use. Learn the characteristics of brushes naturally while drawing. Before you know it, you'll be able to experience a variety of art materials and use brushes skillfully.

Point 3.

Let's learn the whole process of painting together.

While looking at photos, you'll practice all the steps involved in sketching, coloring, contrast, and applying backgrounds several times. Now, enjoy drawing pictures of your daily life with your iPad.

Point 4.

Expressing darkness and light, making the picture more vivid!

You'll easily learn about contrast expressions that may be difficult for beginners. I'll show you how to effectively express darkness and light with simple techniques.

Point 5.

It makes my paintings more special.

I'll show you how to make my finished picture more special using a *MOCK UP (Mock UP) file. Mukgak refers to a file that makes a picture look real by applying a picture to a frame or interior decoration item. It's like seeing a real interior work.

In this class, I'll share various mockup files you can use right away and show you how to apply them easily. You'll want to show off my pictures by posting them on social media:)

Point 6.

Making one-of-a-kind goods in the world

You can also decorate your room by making a poster of the finished picture. It's really cool, right?

I can draw it the way I want, and it can also be used as such a nice interior accessory.

I'll show you the process of transferring my own drawing to a computer, adjusting the size, and actually ordering and receiving the delivery one by one.

A dream about a painting I had forgotten

Is there anyone who is preparing for a second job with painting?

Are there any housewives like me whose careers have been cut off, or who work but have always wanted to draw?

As an ordinary housewife with no experience or connections, I'll also share how I became an illustrator and became a professional, and the know-how I learned from bumping into each other.

I'm working as an illustrator while raising a child.
Anyone can do it if they are passionate:)
