Hallo I'm Mung Gul Butler who studies illustrators.

Did you find the Illustrator program complicated?

As a non-design major, I am also an illustrator doing this. It's been over 10 years since I studied and studied only illustrator programs because I was fascinated by the fact that they are made with just a mouse without a tablet. ^^

I'm always curious about illustrators, and when I read books, there are many books that focus on hard content, such as creating logos.

As a result, I needed so many books to learn the techniques I needed. I'm also looking for books from Japanese writers and American writers (I think the Japanese I learned to read comic books would be used like this...) Researched Now I want to unravel the tips and techniques I've kept for myself in this class with all of you.

vector files!

An advantage that does not break even when zoomed 1000 times or 10,000 times!

Illustrator is a program developed by Adobe that allows you to draw pictures using a computer, and the biggest difference from Photoshop is that it uses vectors. The vector method has a clean feel, and no matter how much you zoom in or out, the image Because there is no breakage or damage It is mainly used in graphics in the printing field.

Can you see the difference between a vector file (left) and a bitmap file (right) when zoomed in 100 times in the picture below?

Illustrators are used in a variety of fields. Character design, typography, illustration, corporate CI or BI, package design, editorial design... etc... Because there is no image damage even if you increase the size It is used in many places.

Trendy these days Making Goodnote inlay, cell phone grips, cases, key rings, cupsIt's so fun to see various products come out with my own design, such as...

A charming character that can be completed with just one mouse!

↑ I use the expression “I make it because it's produced like the video above.” ^^

I also bought the biggest tablet since I first set up a tool washer. But after using Illustrator a few times, I realized I didn't need a good tablet.

Of course, nowadays, illustrators can also detect pen pressure, so it's better to have a tablet, but since a mouse alone can be effective enough, I recommend that first-time learners feel free to start with a mouse. Instead of drawing by hand on a tablet, etc., it's fun to click and click with the mouse to complete it:)

It's a vector file, but it looks like a hand drawing!

Vector files have the advantage of not being broken, but they may look hard because of that. We will study various ways to create the impression of hand painting, such as applying a texture and using a brush to create a softer picture.

It's an illustrator with a hard format Texture in the right partCan you see that it has been applied?

You can also use textures as scans or photos, but you'll also learn how fun it is to create your own textures and try them out.

vector file!! Wouldn't it be too hard?

You can create as soft, hand-drawn images as you like with images in vector files.

Just with the mouse ^^

In the Mung Gul Butler class, we'll take the time to complete a character from among the many things that can be expressed as an illustrator.

Beginners who don't know anything will take this lesson and later find themselves drawing characters using only the mouse.

Use shape tools to create characters,

Use the distortion tool to create a character,

Try making it using a bomb tool,

Try creating using layers,

Apply various effects to create a character that blends with the background,

At the end I'm going to take the time to apply everything to create a character.

🎁 I will give all those who have signed up for the course my textures and brush files!

Well then, Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of illustrators with me.

Hallo

It's called Mung Gul Butler with two siblings, Mung and Guri.

I'm not an art major, but since I was a kid, I loved comic books so much that I used to draw on my own.

I didn't have the courage to go to the arts side, so I went to college and had a normal work life by matching my scores, but I always had vague dreams about drawing and character design.

In the meantime, the computer graphics certificate seemed to have a cool name for some reason, so I thought I'd win it...

I began the challenge vaguely.

One of the programs that entered that certification was Illustrator.

Even though Photoshop got into that process, I didn't find it attractive, but the tool called Illustrator

I was fascinated by the fact that vivid pictures come out, so I only studied a program called Illustrator from then on.

Recently, illustrators have even been released for iPad, making them easier to access.

Many functions are still limited, so it's all about editing a file on a computer, but when I see new features coming out with every update, I feel that one day I can only use Illustrator on an iPad than on a computer.

I want to share the joy I felt with you.

Starting with how to use tools, how to create and apply your own textures, create brushes, and draw by hand... Various lectures are being planned.

I'd like to share various tips I've been studying alone in class. ^^
