Hello I'm BELLA, a creator who draws beautiful things.

Hello, I'm BELLA, a creator who draws beautiful things. Immersed in the charm of watercolor, I paint beautiful things that I think are beautiful, things that enrich my soul and heart.

I have been working as an art lecturer at home and abroad for about 14 years, and I have been “teaching art” for a long time, starting with art entrance examinations, continuing art tutoring, portfolios for going to American universities overseas, and teaching graphic design.

I am a person who believes in the healing power of nature. The comfort you get from seeing, hearing, and feeling nature and the good influence of humans is truly beautiful.

The comfort and richness of the beautiful nature of New Zealand changed not only my painting style but also my life, and I live by communicating with many people through Instagram and YouTube while working on various things based on that experience.

Watercolor illustration is a method of using paint and water concentration to adjust saturation and brightness, and express it using various techniques through time difference and medium. Because of the nature of watercolor painting, which can be created very clearly and profoundly, I think of the process of drawing watercolor illustrations itself as “mindfulness” (mindfulness). If you're a mindfulness or meditator, you've probably heard a lot of people asking you to stay in the 'Be present' moment.

Previously, my life was very far from meditation or mindfulness, but after an unexpected big event, I had time to focus on my inner world, and I realized that the act of painting itself can be healing.

The color I painted a few minutes ago has already dried up and won't smudge even if I rub it with my hands, and I'm in the moment I'm painting now. I feel that my present is more beautiful because of the past, no matter how difficult the past was in the transparent layers of colors. That's why I love watercolors. And I paint to love my life even more.

I would like to share this with you in this lecture.

My class is 'Complete Introduction to Watercolor Class'.

Through this course, you can learn all the basics of watercolor painting. It's interesting, but most people who can't get started in the new year, or those who want to draw for the first time, often have a sense of pressure and fear of failure because watercolors use water, that if they draw incorrectly, they will be ruined.

But actually There's no such thing as a failure in painting; it's just a variety of attempts.

Using a database of my experiences with many students at home and abroad that I have taught so far, I have compiled all the techniques that beginners and beginners must learn, and my tips and know-how about watercolor using my own teaching method.

If you are stubborn in the class, you have drawn various techniques and pictures, so you can paint the most interesting style and then do intermediate and advanced courses without difficulty. We hope you enjoy the joy of drawing by choosing from a variety of styles rather than just one style.

Bella's watercolor class is so different!

Actually, I never formally learned watercolor because I went to an American university to study dry materials.

Therefore, I know the minds of people who are new to watercolor, and I have experienced firsthand what kind of grievances they have, so I can tell you more about them. Even if you want to learn a lot, I thought it would be right to let you know more about what you would do in the same amount of time, so I created a curriculum where you can practice as much as possible.

I can draw a lot of pictures using watercolors. Since all of these detailed subjects are advanced subjects within the larger framework of watercolor illustration, all of these detailed subjects can be expressed in detail and beautifully using materials called watercolor painting, such as landscape drawing, botanical art, portrait watercolor, etc. A basic watercolor skill called a common courseIt requires. If these basic skills are well developed, of course, even if you take advanced courses, you can learn them much more easily and quickly.

That's why I took my class “Introduction to watercolor basic skills class“I think. For those who are interested in painting for the first time, and for those who want to draw watercolor illustrations, I would like to create a basic skills guide. Since we are beginners since we bought the ingredients, I carefully organized the material kit using my own market research and experience, using only the essentials as an essential kit.

What specifically will I learn?

In each lesson, I learn techniques and draw illustrations using the techniques I have learned.
The illustrations you will draw with me through this class

After learning the basic skills, you will be able to draw illustrations using various techniques in a more advanced course.

BELLA

Hello, this is “BELLA,” who mainly draws watercolor illustrations. As an art instructor, I'm planning to open a class based on 10 years of experience in Korea and 4 years overseas. I'm also a self-taught watercolor painter, so I understand the pain and pressure of beginners very well. I'll help you get started with watercolor illustration in a more friendly and comfortable way with my actual experience + my own tips and curriculum that I've learned in classes with many people. The goal of my class is not just a masterpiece of works, but to develop basic skills so that I can apply the techniques I learned after the class to actually apply them to my own illustrations. I think you can think of it as an “introduction to watercolor” for drawing various paintings such as portraits, botanic art, and illustrations. Once you get started properly, the time it takes to learn intermediate and advanced skills is reduced by several times, and your skills improve very quickly. Learn various tips on how to use various brushes, make use of broken pictures, make corrections, etc., and feel free to paint whatever you want:)
