The appeal of theatrical portraits

There is no doubt that dramatic portraiture is the most difficult area of painting.

You will feel that it is even more difficult because of the pressure to draw exactly like the real thing, and the idea that it must be detailed and complete.

Nevertheless, the reason portraiture continues to enjoy popularity is probably because the desire to express a part of the subject's life on their own screen is inherent in people's minds.

An in-depth portraiture course completed from the basics

You will learn how to use colored pencils for each brand unique to this class, explore the characteristics of attention, which is the most important part that determines the impression, and draw characters.

As you practice the basic course, you will gradually learn it by hand, and then move on to the advanced course.

Theatrical portraits that capture emotion

In the class, let's take the burden off from the sketching stage and focus on the unique colors of the characters and the emotional expressions that appear due to the colors that change with light.

Photography-like drama, actually portraiture, won't just feel difficult and remote anymore. Rather, I believe you will discover new fun about painting with more stories and deeper feelings.

Realistic depictions, high density colors!

In this class, you'll learn and practice sophisticated, high-density coloring techniques that can realistically recreate characters. Drawing theatrical portraits has the advantage of being able to learn all the elements suitable for expressing and practicing subtle changes in color, various textures, and fine shapes.

Although it can be difficult, after practicing the entire process of creating realistic portraits, you can fully apply it to drawing a variety of other materials, such as landscapes, still lifes, and animals.

To successfully draw portraits

If you draw a factual portrait with me in this class, you will be able to continue drawing after class.

By the end of the class, you will have developed a deep color that changes according to the color and lighting of the skin, and in the process, you will have learned the fun of theatrical portraiture, and you will realize that your paintings are increasing through this.

Artheaven

I'm Artheaven, a theater studio colored pencil artist who draws beautiful things with colored pencils.

I majored in Western painting at university, and I had a dream of being a professional artist, but due to the economic crisis, I became a realistic human being.

I'm currently working on art education for entrance exams, and in my everyday life like a cog wheel, this wasn't my dream... I had the courage to start my own work.

I've been in the entrance examination art education field for a long time, and since time and space constraints are burdensome to do something again with oil painting work that I majored in, I tried YouTube using colored pencils that allow for easy and detailed work.

While working on colored pencil characters, I am fascinated by the quick response unique to online, so I have a very fun and busy day running entrance examination training and a YouTube channel.

The appeal of painting seems to be that you can forget about miscellaneous thoughts when drawing.

No matter how complicated and depressing your usual life is, once you sit in front of a painting and start drawing, you will lose your thoughts. I am immersed in the formative play that takes place only at my fingertips on the paper, and I focus entirely on painting.

I hope you all feel the same way I did.
