Check out what classmates have to say!
In 2016, I published the book “Liana's Eraser Stamp,” and now I'm taking classes on eraser stamps at my workshop, “Liana's Workshop” in Daegu, and I'm also taking custom stamps. Mainly inspired by nature and cute animals, I make a lot of stamps related to nature and animals.
In this class, I'm going to look at everything about eraser stamps with the theme of dogs and cats. I'll share all the carving skills, how to draw a pattern, etc. After class, I hope you will have time to leave a stamp on your own with a picture of your choice, such as plants, fruits, and cute props.
The appeal of eraser stamps lies in the fact that you can work without a lot of materials, that you can erase miscellaneous thoughts while focusing on the engraving, and the fun of thinking about how to use the finished stamp to take a picture. The feeling of pride when you apply the right color to an engraved stamp and take a picture that fits the desired object and desired location is really attractive.

The time required may vary depending on the individual and the speed of progress.
What do you learn?
Learn the tools needed to stamp an eraser
Before practicing eraser stamping, you will have time to understand and learn the tools necessary for the job. I will share with you the experience of working with eraser stamps from 2012 until now, and tell you all the essential tools such as carving, knives, ink, and erasers, as well as their features and precautions.
Build the ability to freely carve erasers
The eraser stamp uses an art knife and engraving chart for detailed engraving. I use a cutter knife when cutting an eraser into large chunks, but in order to capture the picture I want, I need to be able to freely handle art knives and carvings. Through the class, you'll learn how to use an art knife to engrave an eraser stamp and how to use a carving diagram to make it easier to engrave on the right part.
Ways to make your finished eraser stamp shine even more
There is a way to make a carefully finished eraser stamp shine even more. You can also choose the right ink according to the stamp surface and apply a wood mount to create a more complete stamp. We'll show you Liana's various tips and know-how, such as what kind of ink to use on what surfaces, how to apply wood mounts, and how to store eraser stamps.
After class stubbornness, the eraser stamp can also be applied like this.
▶ ︎ You can also decorate diaries, postcards, etc. with cute mini stamps!
▶ ︎ In addition to pets, you can also make other animals that you like, such as penguins, pandas, and baby bears
After completing the class, you can apply the techniques you have learned to make a variety of stamps with your own pictures. In addition to pets, you can apply it as many as you like, such as mini illustration stamps, various animal stamps, and stamps containing my own calligraphy. Perfect for giving points to business cards, used fabric pouches, notebook covers, etc.
