Skills You’ll Learn
Hallo
I'm Onul, the creator who weaves ratans with emotion.
I started a rattan craft with a friend, and it was so much fun that I even opened a workshop. I also run an Instagram and blog, and when I saw the students enjoying the classes, I felt like I wanted to join more people.
I would like to meet all of you in a fun and easy class, incorporating the fun times I had while weaving ratans and the know-how I gained from offline lectures.
I recommend it to everyone who is new to Rattan.
This class, which consists of a level of difficulty that even beginners can follow, is composed of beautiful works that are well used in real life. It's a class prepared for students to learn the basics and complete works that are both practical and sensible:)
From the basic process of dividing the heart of ratan to the practical process of applying techniques to making baskets and works, I carefully packed it down. WanAfter the lesson, you'll be able to make small items on your own!
Let me point out some confusing techniques.
We've prepared steps to clearly identify the confusing techniques. Here are some of the most frequently asked techniques in offline classes, such as twisting and connecting lines.
Let's also learn where you can apply the techniques you've learned in the middle of the class:)
Let's take a closer look at the class content?
Let's find out what rattan is.
There were many people who wondered how to make a basket out of branches that seemed to break quickly. Ratan's heart softens when it contains water, so it's great for creating works. Let me start with these basic things and tell you the characteristics of devotion.
The technique is meticulous, and the work is wonderful
Before creating a work, you'll learn how to weave ratans. I've set up a separate chapter for techniques so that I can easily find and review whenever I get confused:)
Once you've gotten used to the techniques to a certain extent, it's time to create your own work. We have prepared 7 works that you can create sequentially according to the level of difficulty, from easy ones to slightly difficult ones. These works can be used at home or as preparations for emotional camping.

🧡 Lampshade
🧡 Square basket
🧡 Table mat

🧡 Laundry basket
You'll be able to complete the work just by being happy with Ratan, or by adding other materials. You'll find out how fun it is to create using the techniques you learned in the Learn the Techniques chapter!
Heart-rich rattan crafts,
Let's get started together?
Even those who find rattan difficult can quickly learn it. It was not difficult to organize while preparing a variety of courses, from solid basic courses to application courses.
Have fun with Onul!

I am the artist Onul who runs Ratan Kobo.
I fell in love with the rattan craft I started with a friend, and eventually opened a workshop.
Nowadays, when it's hard to go outside due to coronavirus, I think rattan is a perfect hobby to do at home.
I would also like to share with the students the time I spent healing while weaving ratans.
