The Children's Observatory, which opened in 2003 Developed Korea's first regular astronomy course for childrenIt has established itself as a leader in astronomy education in Korea. Only graduates who have graduated from Children's Astronomical Observatory 140,000It's different. Currently, it has 24 branches nationwide, and 142 astronomy teachers are working with more than 23,000 children.

Astronomy master's degree and doctoral level teachers are gathered Education Contents InstituteWe have developed and produced all of our own animations, high-quality teaching materials, textbooks, and crafting.

#1 Classes at the Children's Observatory are fun!

First, Byeolyumu, the mascot of the Children's Observatory, enters a mysterious world of stars and space with Leica. Then Ipken Sam and Bambi Sam will explore their questions together. If you follow an interesting story and understand the thoughts of scientists, you will unknowingly learn the principles of the stars and the universe. Also, if you make something developed at the Children's Observatory, your astronomical thinking skills will grow.

#2 Classes at the Children's Astronomical Observatory never only impart scientific knowledge.

It induces natural empathy through animation and storytelling, and allows children to think about questions on their own. Through this process, children learn how to think scientifically.

Kids Starlight Expedition Class

Let's take a sneak peek?

#별꿈이와 Let's Be Curious Together Animation

I have a lot of questions about this cute star who takes care of sheep. During the day, I look at sheep's footprints and imagine various shapes.

At night, stars appeared in the night sky. When I saw the stars, I imagined various shapes. Can anyone draw a picture of the stars in the night sky? Do constellations not change?

#2 Let's solve your questions with Ipken Tutor and Bambi Sam.

Let's take a look at why the constellations for the night sky were decided and what my birthday constellation is.

#3 Now that we've learned about constellations, let's make a constellation scope that allows you to see the constellations at home.

Have fun experiencing constellations by making constellations that you can see clearly from the sky, and making your own constellations of your own imagination. Once you've finished making them, you can also enjoy playing games with constellation cards!

<Kids Starlight Expedition>

The children who left together

Your way of looking at the world will change.

While looking at the night sky, “It's Orion's seat!” You might see children shouting. We invite you to the world of stars and space, where the mysteries of the universe and the wisdom of humanity flow like a river!

“Children who know the stars are more thoughtful.”

Hello, I'm Children's Astronomical Observatory. Established in 2003, the Children's Observatory shares with children the process of searching for scientific knowledge hidden in space through a four-year systematic astronomy program developed for the first time in Korea.

What was Copernicus' mind when he realized that the Earth we live on is moving? Also, how did you feel when Galilei discovered the moon orbiting Jupiter, Kepler discovered the laws of motion of the planets, and when Hubble confirmed that there are other galaxies outside of our galaxy? You will only feel that heart and joy when you see celestial bodies and astronomical phenomena that you have never seen before.

As a leader in astronomy and space education services for children in Korea, the Children's Observatory has consistently maintained the number one market share until now, and has the only astronomical space content development research institute in Korea. Through systematic education and various experiential activities, we invite you to a world of stars and space where the mysteries of the universe and the wisdom of humanity flow like a river.
