Hello, I'm Hera's tutor ^^

In this “One and Only Drawing My Own Diamond - Colored Pencils Edition”, I'm going to express diamonds of various cuts with colored pencils. There's also a hidden treasure in this lesson, so be sure to look for it!

Get away from the tiring daily routine for a while Treasure huntShall we get started?

A trip back in time to school

When was the last time you used triangles and compasses? I'll first learn how to draw diamond patterns with various cuts before I practice the techniques of expression with pencils and colored pencils.

In this class, I'll meet my old friend Samgang-ja and Compass again, which I haven't seen since my school days. If you slowly draw a circle and draw a line, a shiny diamond will appear.

The basics of art -pencil-

In our memory, when we first start drawing with colored pencils, a cute picture drawn with a colored pencil held tightly in our hands like a fern comes to mind. This time, I'm going to draw a stylish and cool picture with colored pencils. Before using colored pencils, I'll first learn various techniques of expression with pencils.

You'll practice techniques for expressing contrast, gradients, highlights, and light reflection effects that you'll use in the main work you'll complete later. As you practice step by step, you'll be able to use the pencil comfortably.

Advanced coloring book

I'll go back to when I was a little younger than when I was in school, where I spent a while drawing designs. As a child, you probably remember having fun playing coloring books while filling every space with colored pencils holding comic characters and pretty pictures.

This time, your childhood memories will come back to mind as you fill each square of a diamond with the colored pencil expression techniques you've practiced with a pencil.

Did you find a treasure?

I hope that through this class, you will master the various techniques of expression needed to explore the world of art in the future with pencils and colored pencils, and get closer to the world of art that was only felt far away. Also, I hope it will be a time to draw a pattern using a triangle, protractor, and compass, and fill each square of the diamond pattern with colored pencils, and look back on precious childhood memories that were forgotten in the midst of a busy daily life.

A sketchbook filled with sparkling diamonds,
I hope it will be a jewelry box containing your precious memories and memories.
