Fantasy worldview

I will create a Western fantasy world view and illustrations.

An original fantasy world created with Blender

Do you want to create fantasy illustrations and worldviews, but aren't sure how to create them? This class is recommended for those who want to create background illustrations and a fantasy world view, those who are interested in Western culture, and those who want to know how to study about the West useful for illustration.

First, let's start with the knowledge of architecture and decoration necessary to create a Western fantasy world

In fantasy design, it is important to create a “persuasive work” that can clearly explain “why this design” rather than “somehow”. I will give a thorough lecture from how to collect design reference materials to learning about Western history, architecture, decoration, and furniture in a fun way, and finally making one illustration!

Create a background for a fantasy world, each with its own meaning

Focusing on “what I want to convey” and “I want you to know,” “I value the creation of works that not only have the appearance but also the 'content' such as the concept and setting. eg“Why is it this shape?” “Why did it look like this?”etc... In class, we create works while always being aware that each one has meaning.

Expand your expressive power with 3DCG

In this class, we will use Blender and illustration software to create a Western fantasy world view and illustrations. Blender is 3DCG software, so it can be viewed from any 360 degree angle. So once you make it, it can be applied to various situations, so there's no doubt that it will be useful for those who want to make works or those who draw comics from now on!

“I want to create a fantasy world view from now on!” This class is recommended for those who say that or those who want to “make a background easily”!

What is important in all activities in common is asking yourself the question “why.” I think thinking about the reason for the design and why the shape creates depth in the work, and I feel that one of the fun things about the work is one of the fun things about it!

Q. What kind of activities does the teacher do? Please tell us a little bit about your teacher!

A. Regardless of illustrations, mainly on SNS

I use various media to create works that value concepts. They also design and produce bags, shoes, etc., and sell them at select shops.

Q. How did your teacher get into digital illustration?

A. The reason for painting itself is that when I was in the 5th grade of elementary school, I made a paper bag in class and then scribbled on it, so I started drawing pictures! From there, my sister was drawing pictures on a PC, so I asked them to teach me.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

There are a lot of videos and materials on how to draw fantasy illustrations, but I hadn't seen any of the courses or materials needed to draw. I remember having a lot of trouble gathering materials and researching them. So I decided to start the course because I wanted to be able to tell you everything “from the beginning to completion” based on what I wanted to know at the time!

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? What kind of people would you recommend this class to?

A. Recommended for those who like Western fantasy but don't know how to make it! Western design makes sense down to the smallest details. I would like to be able to teach you through lectures in as much detail as possible.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?

A. It's about Western fantasy, of course, but I want you to experience the fun of creating your own favorite worldview through Blender.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A. “Making fictional things” certainly feels difficult, and I don't think it's actually easy. So I would like to be able to share difficult things as easily and happily as possible!
