This is a class where you draw girls by applying lots of colors using the paint tool SAI.

Not to mention how to draw characters, lectures on knowledge and ways of thinking about colors, etc.

It also included ways to discard stereotypes. For example, would it be strange to use pink for skin and green or yellow for sailor uniforms?

If you think it's a bit strange... please take a close look at the image below. You'll be amazed.

Let's throw away stereotypes and play with color! Enjoy a colorful world with free thought

When you draw illustrations, don't you have a sense that you're not good at colors?

In this class, there is no need to think “it would be strange if it wasn't this color” or “if it were normal, this color wouldn't fit here”.

You can use pink or orange on your skin, or you can use green or yellow on your sailor suit.

For example, the color in the image below is the color in the uniform skirt and the one in the shadow of the left hand.

It's so vivid when viewed alone, so it takes a bit of courage to use this color on your skin. But don't you think it's surprisingly familiar when you look at the whole illustration?

Originally, illustrations and pictures are free and fun. If you use new colors, you can meet a new self and a new taste.

Nonetheless, it's difficult to take on a challenge all of a sudden, so in this classA thorough lecture on how to think unique to the creator Shikoda, who is good at handling colors, such as saturation, brightness, and color combinations that go well with each otherI'm doing it.

Let's get rid of rigid stereotypes and draw a colorful and free world!

In order to draw a girl nicely, the point is to “charm her with her beautiful curves”!

Other than color, there is one more point I want to keep track of”line”.

What does creator Shikota think is the greatest appeal of girlscurvyIt is. In order to draw more attractive illustrations, it is important to successfully express the softness and roundness of the body, but even if you know it in your head, it is quite difficult to output it. Therefore, in this class, we decided to show the points and techniques that creators are usually aware of to the public. This is the only place where you can peek inside the illustrator's head! Let's acquire a number of skills and complete illustrations that have taken them to the next level.

[Message from the creator]

My name is Iroda and I'm an illustrator.

I am good at creating captivating illustrations with colors and the expressions of people. As for my everyday work, my motto is “just put on whatever color you like.”

Speaking of color, Iroda!I wanted to be a creator that people would associate with”, so I thought of the name of the activity called Shirota.

I planned this class with the idea that it would be nice if the fun of color could be conveyed first without being bound by stereotypes. I'll share my obsessions and ways of thinking about drawing pictures, so let's enjoy the “joy of drawing pictures” together!

In my class, I would be happy if you could become good friends with colors and experience the fun of drawing pictures with a free sense of color!

I'm an illustrator born and living in Fukui prefecture. Currently, I am working mainly on drawing illustrations for music MVs and producing and selling illustration books/original apparel goods. Occasionally, I haunt events held in Tokyo.

Q. Please tell us about your experience and achievements so far! Please tell me about exhibitions, awards, etc.

I'm completely self-taught when it comes to illustrations. I studied fashion design and clothing production in high school, and after graduating from high school, I went on to a vocational school in Osaka and majored in graphic design. After graduating from vocational school, I moved to Chiba Prefecture and experienced the hospitality business for about 3 years at an eyeglass dealer. Q. How did your teacher get into digital illustration?

I think I started drawing pictures because I was familiar with anime and comics from an early age due to the influence of my family.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

I planned it with the idea that it would be nice if the fun of color could be conveyed first without being bound by stereotypes! It's not like a so-called general technique, and there are points I've personally learned and been particular about. In this class, I will share my commitments and ways of thinking about drawing pictures, etc., so let's enjoy the “joy of drawing” together!
