Hallo This is Dae Kim, the story of Needles.

Let's make your own knitting sweater with me!

I am in charge of marketing and knitting at Needle Story, a knitting company specializing in knitting. Needle Story Kim Dae-riIt's called. I am also a young knitter who has been in the family business for the second generation after my mother, who is the founder of the “Needle Story” company I belong to.

From the basics of needle knitting to top-down sweaters

Knitting a top down sweater takes several steps to complete. In this class, we'll cover everything from how to hold your nose, how to knit the outside, and how to make clothes fit your body.

What's a top down sweater?

A top-down sweater refers to the technique of floating from top to bottom (top-down) without sewing clothes separately.

Like this!

In the past, the usual way to knit clothes is to pull out the body plate and sleeves separately and sew them. This method isn't easy for beginners to try at first glance.

though The top down is different! All you have to do is follow the rules, and your clothes will be perfect.

Also, I can wear it while floating in the middle like this, so it's twice as fun to float:)

Would you like to take a look at these sweaters?

Before I start knitting a sweater, I start by putting out a gauge (gauge).

A gauge is a small piece that can measure the sweat of one's hands so that clothes fit your body. Think of it as a size guide where you make your own measurements.

The method of gauging is very simple, so first-time knitters can also practice knitting while taking out the gauge.

After turning on the gauge, I will make a sweater that fits my body in earnest!

The sweater in the picture is size XS!

It's OK if you're new to knitting, and I'll teach you step by step how to hold a needle. Through the gauge, you can also make sizes from XS to XL according to your desired size. The photo is only light blue, but I have prepared a variety of colors so that it appears in the color you want.

Circular Yoke technique top down sweater

The circular yoke technique sweater you'll learn in this class is a circular shape that stretches at a fixed rate, right? There are no lines, so the style has a slightly softer feel. The way to float is also not difficult, so it's great for beginners to try it out.

Let's knit sweaters together and wait for winter! ^^

In the meantime, looking at hand knitting designs tailored to the mother generation, I always had a lot of regrets as a second-generation knitter. So after I started knitting as a job, I began designing and knitting clothes in a style that I really wanted to wear, rather than the typical sweaters that come to mind when I think of “knitting sweaters.”

With a youthful sense The sweater you want to wear every dayMy dream is to knit with many people, and I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a detailed and systematic way to knit sweaters in an online class.

I make everyday sweaters with good yarn.

Sweaters that you knit yourself should float with good yarn. It usually takes 10 days or more to knit a sweater, but when I knit it later, I regret it a lot when I see the result of poor quality yarn. You can't reverse the time it floats and the ball.

I am also responsible for visiting the factories of international knitting yarn brands in Italy, England, and France that our company deals with, and visually check the production process and check the quality. I saw it myself and imported it directly, so Kim Dae-ri definitely guarantees the quality and reasonable price.
