Hello, I'm Dae-dae Kim, the creator of Needlework. After my first book, <Easy to Float Top Down Knit>, my second book will be published in December '21.

The second book contains 19 different needle-knitting works. I prepared this mini class because I wanted to share with you the design I made with the greatest attachment.

It's a kids' top-down pretzel knit.

The work we're going to create together this time is a top-down pretzel knit. The thread is thick and the finishing size is small, so even beginners can easily complete it.

It looks like I put it on a 26-month-old 13kg kid. I'm 2 years old. It is the prettiest size to wear from a child who has passed the stone to a 2-year-old child. It is a size that does not cause activity problems even if the child wears it with underwear underneath.

The Butter6 thread I used this time is 100% acrylic yarn, so it has the advantage of being machine washable. Plus, it dries really quickly and doesn't deform or fluff even after getting in the washing machine, so it's perfect for making kids' clothes.

Do you know that? The fact that it's easier to knit adult clothes of a larger size than children's clothes! After following this class and thinking about kids' clothes together, you'll be able to quickly find adult-sized clothes even if you just look at the design.

It's top-down, but with a symbolic design!

Most top-down knitwear has a descriptive pattern. However, since this design has a pretzel pattern, it is included along with the symbol pattern for a more intuitive understanding.

There are many people who find it vaguely difficult to design symbols. After learning how to look at symbol designs in this class, they will be able to easily challenge any design they come across later.

Also, even though the clothes you'll be making in this class are small in size, they include a variety of techniques, so it's fun to learn. In addition to pretzel, you can experience a variety of techniques to further enhance the completeness of clothes, such as shoulder slanting, sleeve slanting, etc.

These techniques are not only difficult, but everyone can follow them all! Let's learn properly with me and develop the confidence to try out any design without being afraid to come across.
