Interview-

Q. What value/appeal do you want to convey to students through this class?

A. There are many people who start pop art because it is a sensible and exciting art genre, but it is a hobby that makes me feel calmer when I draw, and it makes my heart feel beautiful when I draw while thinking about the people around me.

Q. If you are taking an offline class, when did you start taking classes and how many students have you met?

A. I opened a studio called <My Pop Art> in 2012, and now I have been running pop art classes all the time under the name < in My Art, which is located in Garosu-gil. Starting with Ten Baiten, we also held a fun pop art program in collaboration with various companies such as Coca Cola, D Museum, Benefit, Samsung Electronics, and WeWork.

Q. Why did you start this work?

A. While studying art during my school years, I came across a genre called pop art and fell in love with it. Then, as a hobby, I drew pop-art style portraits for my friends and family and gave them as gifts.

“Why do I love pop art?” When I thought about it, I realized it was because the works were fun, colorful, and simple compared to other art genres. That's why I wanted to start art, but I thought it was the perfect genre to get started with, so I introduced a pop art portrait class program in 2012, and I've been teaching for 7 years with a great response.
