Hello, I'm Serena, the representative violinist of Seoul String Academy. Seoul String Academy is a classical music education academy under the Seoul String Ensemble, a group of 'designated professional artists by Seoul City' with a 27-year history.

I started playing the violin when I was a kid, and now I've been growing up with the violin for close to 20 years. I usually keep busy preparing for the performance, playing, and training for after school:) I'm always trying to make the violin easier for more people to access.

There are many people who think that violins are hard to come by easily. However, the violin is a much easier instrument than you might think. It's a lightweight instrument that you can carry anywhere, and you can play it anywhere, at home or outdoors!

It blends well with other instruments such as piano, guitar, vocals, etc., and appears without missing any kind of music! Even in orchestra performances, the violin part has the largest number of people and is an important part.

The violin looks simple, but it's a very delicate instrument with 70 parts. Therefore, it has the advantage of having a wide range of transliterations that can be produced even at a small size.

On a piano, you can feel that it's difficult because you press a key with a fixed pitch, and a guitar has a pitch interval displayed on the fingerboard, but a violin doesn't. I'll show you every detail, from how to set up the instrument to how to put on stickers to help you play, so I can handle the finesse of the violin!

Familiar songs played on the violin

I'm going to complete a total of 6 songs with me! I'm going to be covering famous songs such as Fly Me to the Moon, Love Is the Milky Way Coffee Shop, and Moon River, as well as movie and drama osts. We will provide you with your own piano accompaniment and sheet music.

I'll prepare a slow version of the accompaniment and a fast version of the accompaniment to help you practice. If you don't see the sheet music, don't worry! You can follow the violin's basic scale and rhythm step by step.
