CREATOR STORY

Every single lesson from this class is a hands-on experience of an actor who had numerous trials and errors over a long period. No lies, no exaggerations.

As always, we will be persuaded.

After his teen star debut in 1991, Lee Byung-hun proved himself to be one of the best actors in Korea by persuading audiences with his 30 years of with-out-a-question remarkable acting.

He is a master of all genres, from action and romance to comedy, and a star of various platforms and markets from films, tv shows, k-wave, and Hollywood debut.

Lee Byung-hun talks about how to live as a star and an actor. How to deal with failures and frustrations for your mental health. We'll learn about the acting craft of different genres, delivering lines, and communicating on set. The class also includes case studies on character building of <Masquerade>, <Inside Men>, and <Master>.

This will be the best class to analyze Lee Byung-hun's acting for future actors, movie star fans, curious audiences, and even fellow professional actors.

Q & A

Q. Who would you recommend this class to?

The stories which I am about to share are not a textbook nor a guideline. I just hope this class could be helpful for future/professional actors, even for the tiniest. I hope this class will provide some clues for those who love or want to understand actors.

Q. What is special about this class?

This class gives tips on how to live as a star and an actor, how to deal with failures and frustrations, acting craft of different genres, delivering lines, and communicating on set. The class also includes case studies on character building of <Masquerade>, <Inside Men>, and <Master>.

Q. How do you stay focused when you are having a tough time?

When you are in an extremely bad place and want to give up everything, I think it helps to deliberately distance yourself and observe the circumstances. Just think of this as you're building a useful weapon for acting. Well, I think I made more weapons than enough though.

Q. Finally, what would you say to aspiring actors out there?

I still don’t know how to be a good actor. But as long as you remember the happiness of being in the theater as an audience and keep the pounding heart of a child looking at the actors on the screen, I believe you will be able to live as a mature adult through cinematic experience and character empathy and as an actor who will never be old. Thank you for listening.
