Skills You’ll Learn
Hallo I'm photographer Kim Boha.
I'm Kim Boha, a photographer who has been active for over 40 years since the moment I first came across photography. Starting with fine art work, he left his mark on a wide range of fields, from commercials, fashion photographers to wedding photography for countless celebrities.
I saw and felt many things as a photographer during those years, when it was long, and if it was short, I could feel it was short. I've been constantly thinking about what a photograph is and how to capture it, and I'm still thinking about it at this moment. I would like to create a course that contains my thoughts and know-how that I found in the process.
Photography starts with light
It ends with light.
There are many types of light. It is broadly divided into natural light and artificial light, and if it is segmented, it becomes more diverse. From the many street lights and signboard lights in the city center to the light you feel when dawn is just beginning to set, the bright light in the middle of the day, and the warm light of the sunset before the sun sets, the world is made up of so many different lights.
In this way, the light we encounter in our daily lives is much more diverse than we think. Understanding light is paramount in order to choose the right light when it comes to taking photographs. If we can handle this kind of light well, our photographs can capture endless depth.
No matter how good camera equipment is used, photography cannot exist without light. Through this class, I would like to share many things about understanding, feeling, choosing, and even the posture and thoughts of facing a photograph.
From natural to artificial light
As mentioned above, I'm going to study and learn how to use the most important properties of light in photography. Even if you know how to handle the color, amount, quality, and various properties of light, you will be able to freely use the natural light coming through the window as if it were artificial lighting.
Furthermore, after understanding the concept of light, if you learn how to create the light you want through lighting equipment, you will be able to create wonderful photos while expressing more freely light without restrictions on weather or time.
Learn more easily, and in more detail
through practice sessions!
Beyond learning simple theory By photographing various objects on our own, we will participate in the process of taking a close look at how various subjects respond to light.
From people to watches, cosmetics, and other things that appear most often in commercial shoots, and furthermore, while shooting the most difficult products, such as jewelry, etc. We'll learn how to make tricky light our friend.
Hoping you'll be able to take photos better!
Today, with the advancement of technology, the threshold for photography has been lowered, so it is necessary to explore the source of photography even more. I believe that is the only way to become a photographer. Photographic technology may improve the quality of images, but it is only by breaking the reliance on technology that photographs can be brought to life. I hope that through this class, I will be able to go beyond learning techniques and take the first steps as a photographer.
