Hello, I'm Lala Sam, a painter.

I majored in painting and work based on drawing and oil painting. I'm currently running an art studio and I'm into the fun of teaching people of all ages. Among them, I would like to introduce landscape drawing, which I enjoy working on.

nature, landscape, view

I'm surrounded by me sceneryI'm very interested in usual natureI like and love, so most of the themes in my work were nature close by, and I think the most comfortable genre to capture it was landscape painting. I want to convey the appeal of painting that I felt during the long time I captured the landscape.

An experience that transports the moments I see and feelings

The landscape is static. I don't speak, but my feeling of looking at that landscape does. Something like a strange energy suddenly felt in a calm and calm place, or a sense of loneliness felt in a gorgeous and powerful landscape. Capturing something beyond what is visible is not a privilege that only artists can do. immediately “What I see”I think it would be enough to include.

Drawing well is important, but the basic goal of my class is “What I want to express”It's about drawing. Being able to draw what I feel rather than the eyes expressed by others is the main reason for my lessons, and it is rewarding.

The appeal of landscape drawing

What is the appeal of capturing a landscape painting as a drawing? At first glance, there are no colors, and the materials are too simple. I want to tell you about this. There are a lot of times when painters have an esquis, or drawing a sketch, before entering a big work, but ironically, there are a lot of times when the final work doesn't match the feeling of the sketch.

This is because your initial feelings may fade after drawing for a long time, and you can clearly capture what you want to say when drawing with comfortable materials without feeling heavy pressure. Drawing is like that Intuitive appealI have one.

Would you like to try conte drawing with me?

Conte(Conté)is a drawing material that has a stronger color than a pencil and is expressed more clearly than charcoal. The blending is smooth and the contrast is strong, so even beginners often express the feeling they want. This is the material I will focus on in this lesson.

Unfortunately, when I ask someone who is a first-time painter to use color, I often get a one-dimensional feel. I'm not familiar with how to express tone or texture, so it's easy to get a flat picture. For a good picture, learn “tones.” That way, you can add a color that must be there. This class pencil, conte, charcoalSince it covers all of them, I think it will be a great opportunity to find drawing tools that suit you.

Slowly from the basics, I will gradually expand my perspective and sense.

In class, you'll learn the very basic skills of painting. First, I try to capture natural objects one by one on the screen, draw trees and paths, and then describe exotic and beautiful landscapes.

Glowing landscape painted in black and white
Recommended for those learning painting for the first time.

Just as the appeal of a novel and a poem is different, the simplicity of drawing Essential charm without any clutterbrings me face to face with the painting. It's awkward at first, but as you keep drawing, you'll be able to have your own lines and your own degree of perfection.

through this class The joy of drawing freelyI hope you will definitely meet. Let's meet in class!
